Snow Hill Lodge

My friend and I visited Nepal to volunteer and through our organisation, a trip to Pokhara was organised. We stayed at Snow Hill lodge for 2 nights to tour the surrounding area, visit some key tourist locations, take a boat ride on Phewa lake and see the sunrise on the Himalayan mountains. The hotel staff were friendly and approachable. They quickly took our bags, showed us our room and allowed us to settle in. Room has all that is needed, comfortable beds, a view of the hotel gardens, a small terrace, a walk in shower and wifi. Our driver, guide, hotel general staff, manager and restaurant staff were very friendly and answered any questions we had, always polite and friendly. We had a great time on our tour with the guide and driver, who really took care of us, made us feel comfortable and even helped us find an A**. Really enjoyed our chats and both were very knowledgable on culture, history and Geography regarding Pokhara and Nepal in general. The restaurant, which I will review separately was also excellent. The food was delicious, affordable and dynamic and the service was quick and friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect, with parks over the road, Phewa lake 5 minutes away, 10 minute walk from the tourist bus station and minutes away from shops, restaurants and markets. Great experience overall, would recommend and return if in Pokhara again.

Thank you for very friendly service and management Mr. Nabaraj (The manager). We had a great time there with clean room and natural environment. t’s very quiet and peaceful, and near the lake. Had a great time there with the helpful and friendly behavior of the staffs.

Stayed there with a small group of friends and driver from Bhaktapur for 2 nights. Unfortunately we had tight shcedule, Pokhara needs more than 3 days of exploring... The hotel is a gem of Old Fashion Charm: great shady garden and very friendly staff led by the affable Manager Mr. NABRAJ! Wifi worked great after some Password confusion. Same with TV - needed assistance by a floor boy... One caveat though - the Old Charm goes too far - the electric sockets are worn out and the connecion for our appliances (nowadays everyone has some!) were DIFFICULT. Highly recommended +++

I always try to stay here when I’m in Pokhara. My favorite room is on the third floor of the old building, as it has a big balcony and Mountain View’s. It’s very quiet and peaceful, and near the lake. Nabraj , the manager, is very helpful. I was there for a week this trip.

Nice Hotel. Green garden Room is really Nice like 5 star. Staff also really helpful and friendly.Mr Nabraj sankhi Sir Really Helpful and smiling. We are visiting 3 times in this hotel all times good service &special chicken BBQ
