Close to the business of lakeside but just quiet enough to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of Pokhara. Staff are welcoming and friendly!

The Green Tara is quiet and clean with an understated elegance. On a cul-de-sac, this family-run hotel has dramatic views of Machapuchare (aka Fishtail Mountain) - even from the stairwell. Each room has its individual wi-fi. The floors and staircases are old-school marble with crown molding and plants. There are many classes of rooms, some family- sized with mini-bars and a fridge, some with double or twin beds and a penthouse on the roof. There are 2 lovely balconies where one can look over the local gardens that surround the hotel. Delicious food and fast room service are available. It is also close to restaurants and shops and Lake Fewa. Mr Giri is happy to arrange any trips or services you might need. All at a good price. I am happy to be back to my longtime home in Pokhara. I have been coming to the Green Tara Hotel for 25 years now.

We have been coming to this family-run hotel for almost 30 years. My favorite things are the location, the quiet, the lovely marble hallways, classic architectural details, the views of Machupuchare (Fishtail Mountain) from the rooftop and some rooms! Being on a cul de sac, there is little street noise. Each room has its own wifi connection so internet is high speed. There is a lovely balcony on each floor to watch the world go by. Hot showers are a pleasure. Mr Giri and his staff are there to help you to book anything from adventure sports to travel onward via bus, taxi or airplane. It is an easy walk to the lakefront beaches and bars, restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Clean and reasonably priced. There is also a restaurant with tasty typically Nepali food. There is a very nice penthouse available and some very large rooms have mini bars and bathtubs!

Green Tara is a quiet, clean and central guest house located just off the road in a cul de sac. Different rooms offer views of Lake Fewa or the Annapurna Range, including Machupuchare, aka Fishtail Mountain. Mr Giri, the manager, takes care of all travel necessities and can give advice. The rooftop view is excellent.

I was in the hotel i have had the worst experience no customer service experiences everything is highly overpriced i have paid five star hotel price for this hotel highly recommend to go for 3 star hotel than this. Save your self

Habitaciones muy amplias y cómodas. El edificio es muy bonito y bien ubicado. Está en Lakeside pero alejado del ruido, con lo que se descansa perfectamente. El desayuno muy rico y abundante. Todo el personal es extremadamente amable, nos han hecho sentir muy bien. Lo recomiendo sin dudar.
