Premier Inn Eastbourne (Polegate)

We tried a Premier Inn for the 1st time and the experience exceeded expectations. The Meal Deal offering a breakfast and dinner is highly recommended and excellent value. Will be going again

I ended up being here in two separate stays. The second time my room seemed moderner. The first time the bathroom was a problem: slow draining bathhole, not great flushing loo and variable/ spurting water pressure. There a macdonalds as well as a pub restaurant next door and a service station with a decent little Asda incorporated.

This was excellent for our needs . We had been to Drusilla zoo and wanted something close by . Clean , friendly and great food . Really great value for money . I really was pleasantly surprise at how friendly and attentive the staff were. Especially in the restaurant. It was great to have people serve you who actually seemed to be happy in their work .

We were over to visit family who couldnt attend my sisters funeral two weeks previously. The hotel is located on a very busy roundabout. You kinda take your life in your hands trying to get onto it. There is a restaurant next door, a McDonald's and Asda petrol garage across the road. The hotel isn't particularly welcoming in its presentation. The reception is tired looking. The staff pleasant enough. The room is ok. Has what you need but tired and dirty. Stains on walls, Curtains. Hole in the duvet cover. Stain on pillowcase. I slept on a scarf, so I didn't have to sleep on the sheets. Bathroom ok. I couldn't clean my teeth in there as the toilet was dirty and it made me heave. My Mum and Dad were in another room and my Dad fell in the bath, so maybe ask for a slip mat if they do them. It did the job but I doubt I would stay again. I love a Premier Inn and it would be my first choice but lately most of them seem to be tired and dirty. So I think I may have to have a rethink.

Stayed here for two nights with my husband and my mum and dad. My parents stayed in a disabled room...unfortunately it did not have a walk in shower/bath, but the room was comfortable and clean. The staff were fantastic and very attentive.... we really enjoyed our stay. The staff at the Inn next door were also great. The meal deal was good value for money.

The location was important for us as attending a family funeral nearby. Few issues with room but sorted. Found bed very hard and pillows very spongy, not great. Not helped by noise & vibration from industrial tumble dryer in laundry room beneath us. Brilliant food at Pub/Restaurant next door.

We have stayed a few times before, and once again enjoyed our time away. Staff are friendly and efficient. Clean rooms. We are very light sleepers so always ring ahead for a quiet room, and we were very happy with what we were allocated. Nice to have the pub across the car park. Also a McD for quick breakfast in the morning. Car park can get busy as this seems to be a very popular hotel, and pub.

While its facilities are adequate, it needs an urgent updating of its brown and beige decor. Staff are generally very helpful. Car park is invariably very full and disabled bays often taken. Restaurant adjoining is very popular but this exacerbates the parking problem. .

The pillows are amazing, the bed super comfy! With helpful friendly staff who were very accommodating to our needs. We would definitely visit this premier inn again!!! And recommend to family and friends too
