The hotel is located right at the beach, the location is amazing. Upon arrival at 1am we were offered a drink and given a key. We went for bed and breakfast and for 10 days we ate the same food - some variety would be good. Coffee and orange juice was decent. Reservation of sunbeds in the morning is forbidden, even mid season you can still find a sunbed at 10am. The hotel is clean but our bathroom would appreciate some bleach and good scrubbing of all mould off. Our room wasn’t the most modern it would apriciate some upgrading. The balcony is decent size and with clear glass you literally wake up and look at the outside palms and the sea. Soothing sound of the sea waves will put you to sleep - dream. The idea of having every meal at the beach is also a strong selling point. The staff work very hard cleaning and serving the restaurant. Housekeeping is available every day with linen changed every two days and towels daily if required. Housekeepers also topped up our shower gel or schampoo when needed The highlight of the hotel it’s definitely the location- right at the beach. I’d say it is most suitable for mature couples or younger ones to who don’t want an entertainment as there isn’t any . If you want evening entertainment look away- you will be bored but if you want a quiet hotel just to relax and good night sleep - book right away. There is plenty of bars and restaurants in the nearby area and 10 min walk from the hotel there is a supermarket with all the essentials- there is no shop within the hotel grounds. In the hall there is a shelve full of books - thank you previous tourist WiFi is free There is a kettle available (no coffee) and two mugs &teaspoons Air con at extra charge £5 per day A fridge at extra charge £4:50 per day During the dinner time the hotel guests are not allowed to sit at the „reserved” tables by the seaside. Those are reserved for people coming from outside to dine in which I think it is little bit unfair since we pay €€ to stay at the hotel This place allows dogs to stay at the hotel - bear this in mind if you are uncomfortable around dogs or have allergies or you don’t like dogs barking all afternoon when the owners are out . In overalls great stay, perfectly tailored to our needs and it deserves more stars.

The room was a very nice clean 1 bedroom suite. We included breakfast and dinner with our booking. The food was good family fare served in a buffet style. The highlight of the stay was the staff!! Every person we dealt with there was helpful and courteous. If we had a problem or a question we defintely got the feeling that they wanted to make sure they did whatever they could to satisfy us.

Following my recent return from a vacation at Sunset Bay Hotel, I must express my general satisfaction with the hotel, which offers a remarkable view of the island. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that certain rooms within the premises would benefit from renovations. While I would like to express my gratitude to the entire crew, I must highlight that among the service sections (reception, bar, and restaurant), the restaurant team stood out as the most exceptional. Their customer service skills were exceptional since they demonstrated an outstanding level of attention to detail. Because I am a pescatarian and my sister is a vegan, the staff made certain that our dietary requirements were met during the entirety of the trip. Thank you to the chef for accommodating our dietary preferences so that we did not go without. Special thank you to, RESTAURANT TEAM Meet and greet, Stavros. Your customer service skills are simply outstanding. You have a true customer focus and have always been accommodating, greeting all service users with a smile and assuring everyone's well-being during service. Restaurant Manager: Alexandra. You, I must say, are accredited to this industry. Your brilliance shines through in your team. You are an asset to this hotel, and I hope your quality is recognised. Restaurant Supervisor - Alex, thank you for always making us feel welcome.  Dikis (Flipper) - Hot plate. a great flipper that pays attention to what we require in a quick and timely manner. Andrey - is efficient and dedicated. Marina and Gabriella, I'm proud of you two. You are gracious and courteous, and you never failed to smile during the service. I am aware that working in the heat may be difficult for you, but it didn't show in the quality of your service. I'm giving you flowers for that, ladies. Keep working hard; you'll succeed in this field. BAR STAFF - I would especially want to compliment Elena - was approachable and gave good customer service I compliment you for your service, Zoe - is a customer-focused individual; you anticipated our drink preferences before we came lol. Kudos to you both for creating our cocktails and making sure we were comfortable the entire time. Front desk- thank you for your assistance, especially when I got trapped in the bathroom. The mechanism within the doorknob was damaged, so when the door was closed, it automatically locked me in, prompting three individuals to try to open his door. Fortunately, I am an adult; if that had been a young child who was unable to communicate, the implications could have been disastrous for that poor child, or anyone who didn’t have another person in the room with them to get help. Please conduct a risk assessment before anyone stays in the rooms and check to see whether they are compliant. I want to thank the guy who had to kick the door in the end to get me out. We made a reservation through phone for 4 bedrooms 1 month before the arriving time. When we called 2-3 day before that day, we were told that only 3 rooms are available. As we did not want to cancel our long-weekend 2 of my friends decided to share a room. When we arrived ( and later on when I mentioned this) the owners NEVER said ' Sorry' !!! The old lady owner's comments was : 'Mistakes happen' which is true BUT TO SAY 'SORRY ' WOULD BE ESSENTIAL!!!! Due their mistake we were given rooms not in the main building so we had a restricted view of Omega beach. Moreover, although my friends were old , we were given rooms on the 1st floor which due the steps ( not well lightened during night) made for my friends difficult to reach their room. Rooms had also problems: electricity/TV/hair dryer weren't working, balcony door could not be close properly, toilette flusher got stacked and water was continuously running in the toilette. One positive point that when we complained an old man came soon and tried his best to solve the problem. He was the nicer person from all employees we met there. Rooms had the basic furniture and they were clean, except some smudges on the walls. . BUT only one bedside lamp and not even one glass!! Bathrooms were nicely designed and towels were clean. Breakfast area had a disgusting strong oily smell all day around. Breakfast was very poor, Omelets probably weren't done from fresh eggs as it were served in cubes!! Only one kind of marmalade (probably the same would cost to have at least 2 different one.!!) As about the cleanliness of the coffee /milk pots-they were dirty outside and full with smudged fingerprints. But the worst was the cheep blue supermarket 'Sailor' salt which we had on our table. it was sticky and dirty!!! Next to our table , to separate it from the 'parking'( it is just a plot between the 2 buildings of the hotel, not even a path/steps leading from one building to the other) was a badly hanged plastic. How much would cost to put some nicer stuff there??? The worse came when at the time of check-out we mentioned some of the technical problems in order to help the owners to avoid problems with next guests. The middle aged women (??owner) approach was ABSOLUTELY negative. And again we did not hear the word :SORRY. Maybe they not even know that word??? IT IS TIME TO LEARN TO BE POLITE, TIME TO MAKE MINIMAL IMPROVEMENTS. It is a shame that all these problems brought us negative emotions on that beautiful and unspoiled area of Cyprus.

We have just returned from a great holiday at the Mayfair Hotel, Paphos 4th - 11th November 2023. There are 2 parts to the hotel, the Hotel and Gardens, both are located together in nice well kept grounds and with 3 outdoor and 1 indoor (heated) pool with plenty of sunbeds. We stayed in the Mayfair Hotel and room was spotlessly clean with Tea / Coffee facilities and a fridge which was ideal. Food was excellent with a great choice for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and there was also a dedicated section for Vegan and Vegetarian choices as well as the excellent selection of salads from the salad bar, there is a lovely outdoor dining terrace and staff are very attentive. The bar staff were friendly and with a great selection of drinks included within the All Inclusive Package and is worth the difference. There was a varied evening entertainment programme with some great live singers performing and the entertainment team had a programme of activities throughout the day. The spa was relaxing and well priced. Already looking at returning next November as weather was excellent and this is a great hotel choice, yes it is in a residential area but its only a 15 minute walk to the waterfront / harbour area and would definitely recommend.
