We loved this 13 room hotel, Nicolas and Marta are such wonderful hosts and delightful people who love talking to you. One of our family had a traumatic accident on their holiday in Italy while we were there and our hosts showed such empathy. We had a double room with a huge bed and a spectacular bathroom. Breakfast was menu only and so delicious as was the three dinners we had. The salt water swimming pool is one of the best. Marvellous

A hidden gem, the property is truly breathtaking. Set back from the road up a private drive the only thing you can hear is the sound of cicadas and sheep bells. It is bliss. When we arrived Nicolas, the owner, greeted us with a welcome drink and told us about the history of the house. Our room was immaculate with lots of storage space, a huge bed and a modern bathroom. The entire hotel was pristine. Nicolas and the staff obviously put a lot of time and passion into Son Grua and it absolutely shows. The views are spectacular and there are a number of walking routes within the grounds. Nicolas is also able to recommend excursions, for example, we booked a tour and wine tasting at the Mortitx vineyard that is approximately a 10/15 minute car journey away. The saltwater pool is fantastic and there are drinks you can help yourself to in the fridge (subject to disclosing what you have had in the book) and you can dial the reception from the pool phone for cocktails and snacks. We ate dinner twice at the hotel during our stay. The food was excellent and the service was first class. The best dining experience we had in Pollença. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back. Thank you to Nicolas and the team! Amelia and Matt

I just spent three lovely nights at Son Grua and give the hotel my best recommendations. The place is lovely situated at the foot of the mountains, surrounded by green and roaming sheep. Just a short (5-10 mins) drive from the sea, it was the perfect retreat far away from the hussle and buzzle of the coast. I had dinner at the hotel every for three nights in a row, and the food was amazing. My room was large and beautifully decorated, and the beds were really good. Also loved the bathroom – see pic😊 The website photos really do not do the place justice. However, it is the staff that sets the hotel apart. When I arrived late in the evening, I was greeted by Pedro, who invited me to have a seat and a glass of wine. The owner Nicolas made arrangements for me to have dinner ordered while I got settled in the room. As I was there for a diving course, I had to get out in the morning, but they made arrangements to have breakfast delivered to my room the night before. Thanks to Nicolas, Pedro and team for your efforts! I loved relaxing by the pool in the afternoons, where they provide a fridge with drinks. In summary, Son Grua felt like a home away from home, which I can't wait to visit again.

Exceptional accommodation, hosts and culinary experience! A gem in Mallorca. A must to see and experience. Relaxing charm elegance art and history of 1700’s. Nicolas Martha and Pedro are gracious hosts that attended to greatest detail during our stay. A quiet retreat. Thank you for an amazing memorable experience and stay! We will definitely return. Can highly recommend Son Grua and the kind considerate host and staff. From first moment til the fourth day this was so enjoyable. Loved the view of the mountains, the sounds from the fields and forrest. Room was like a small flat, with a garden access and 5star finish especially to the bathroom, including a great bath tub, etc. For hiking, or biking this is the top-location. The best tours of the island starts here. All meals were really well done and we enjoyed all of them.

In March, E stayed 4 nights in this accommodation on the first floor. Arrival via a long authentic driveway. The entrance and courtyard of the hotel are impressive. The history is palpable. Friendly welcome by the owner and tour of the breakfast room, terraces, swimming pool and lounges. Everything exudes peace and style. The room is comfortable, not too big. Nice shower. Breakfast is made to order and prepared with care. Bicycles could be kept in a separate room. If we had a question or wish we could always call. The owners were extremely friendly and correct. What we struggle with is the price-quality ratio of the room and food. Nothing wrong with that in itself, but not particularly luxurious and we missed the opportunity to make coffee/tea. The dinner was correct and tasty but also quite well priced (40 e for starter and dessert). All in all a good experience, but we were more surprised in other places.

Our stay at Son Grúa was an impressive experience. The farm is in an idyllic location. From the pool we could see the beautiful views of the nearby mountains. The landscape itself and the silence that reigns in the valley transmit peace and tranquility. The house, which is several centuries old, is admirably preserved as it originally was, although the rooms have all the modern comforts. At lunch and dinner they served us wonderful dishes outdoors, in the garden next to the house. The friendly and warm treatment we receive at all times is also notable. We sincerely recommend Son Grúa, both to spend a few days of rest and to relax and enjoy its excellent cuisine.
