St Moritz Hotel

Just come back from a visit it’s a nice hotel. But the noise from the reconstructed of the pool area and the adjacent villas being upgraded is constant apart from the mechanical noise why do builders insist on plying radios for everyone to hear in site. We had access to the facilities at The Point for the fist week but this was withdrawn when the pool at St Moritz was open BUT NOT finished We had to witness a poor lad with disability crying as he was stuck in the pool and his helpers could not get him out What happened to the hoist they had on site ? My advice is give it a miss for a few weeks until it stops resembling a 1980s Spanish hotel open but with facilities not finished

Hotel was amazing staff was great nothing was too much trouble for them. Eat in the restaurant for an evening meal food was outstanding. Great location facilities were everything you could want from a first class hotel. Will 100% be visiting again soon.

Went to celebrate our Anniversary. We were booked into the fully accessible room and was very surprised by how much fully accessible it was. The bathroom was fitted out to perfection. It even had a proper shower chair which made it fantastic. The hotel is beautiful and in a beautiful location. Sitting outside by the pool and looking out over the sea. Every member of staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming and no request was too much. There is only 2 details that prevented us from giving it 5 stars and they are things the staff have no control over, but the hotel management should look at. While the bathroom was perfection the room itself was a bit disappointing. It was small and while it had room for wheelchair access it was limited. Would highly recommend fitting out the bathroom in one of your larger rooms and would even be worth paying more. Sadly disabled individuals generally require more space just due to the nature of things they require. The second thing that made it a bit disappointing was the path to the outdoor pool. While it was wide and level, it needs to be paved in some fashion to make it easier for wheelchairs. It makes for a rough and unsteady ride. If you would make these 2 changes it would by far be the best accessible room and hotel we have encountered. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Amazing location, beautiful yet chilled out vibe. We stayed in 2 hotel rooms, breakfast was lovely, particularly the fresh fruit ! Great to have access to the mini bus for local trips. Lovely outdoor pool and Atlantic views, and fab pizzas at the outside restaurant. Can’t wait to come back after the pools been refurbished !

Was a pleasant stay for this time of year.

EVery thing about this Hotel was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The food in the restaurant was perfect, wonderful and different menu, the waiting staff explained everything to us and were always near but not obtrusive. We will certainly be returning to the St Maritz and we have already recommended it to friends and family. Thank you for making our much needed break very special

It was a pleasure to return to the St Moritz Hotel. It is ideally situated for walking the coast path and visiting Polzeath, Rock, Padstow, Port Isaac & Boscastle. As expected, our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. All the staff we encountered were friendly & helpful. Dining in the Shorecrest restaurant every evening did not disappoint as chef Vicki & her team prepared excellent food. Also worthy of special mention are Asha and Andy who know their food & wines. Many thanks for their recommendations & great service.

We had the most amazing stay! Firstly the staff were just amazing and made our stay really memorable. They were helpful and kind and made you feel very welcome!We had relaxing salt scrub massages, then relaxed in our room with free tea, coffee, hot chocolate, a real pint of milk(none of those little plastic pots), biscuits and bottled water. The pool was being refurbished but we could get the complimentary minibus to the local health club for a swim. We also took the minibus down to Rock to get the ferry to Padstow. Jez gave us a guided tour on route which was great! Evening meal and breakfast were tasty! We cannot wait to go back again!
