I booked a king size bed in a historical room. It was amazing. Gorgeous 20 foot ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom with a sky light privided space and natural lighting . I had a balcony looking onto a hisrorical landmark. Antiques everywhere adorned this quaint hotel. I felt like I was back in time 100 years. The photos on line did not do this hotel justice; here are some of mine.
I would stay here again in a heart beat!

When we arrived to check in we were given a room that the bed was so worned out, we couldn't believe this room was assigned to us. My husband went to the lobby and told the receptionist and she placed us in another room that was much better, the bed was comfortable. We cant emphasize enough the need in these days that every rooms need a small refrigerator and a microwave. We appreciated the elegance of your Lobby and the very good service & good meal at the restaurant (B) at the Melia. This place, is a hotel not a motel, treat it like wise.

This is an historical, beautiful building that can make the experience better with a very few details. We had no covers on our bed, just a thin flat sheet, not enough towels, and details like that that can be easily fixed. Lovely place!

Reservamos 1 habitación para 2 personas por solo 1 noche para descansar y seguir al otro día. Nos dieron una habitación en 3er piso, pero el elevador no servía. Había una actividad privada con música y karaoke que duró pasadas las 2am y se escuchaba todo en cuarto. El cuarto: No se pudo ver TV. El TV no se pudo usar porque al prenderlo decía “que no se pagó Direct TV”. No había agua caliente. Había tabla de planchar pero no había plancha. Nos dejaron 1 sola toalla en el baño. El aire se apagaba de momento. Al otro día a las 9am comenzó una persona hablando por micrófono que nos levantó. En fin, no pudimos dormir por la música hasta la madrugada y por la actividad de las 9am. El cuarto con mobiliario viejo y hasta roto. Horrible y Terrible para un hotel Meliá. No lo recomendamos.

Very outdated facility. Issues with the hot water, broken elevator, stained room carpets, no room phone, no iron machine, uncomfortable matress. The only thing excelling is that employees are very nice and customer services is good anytime.

Location is good, beautiful building.
Issues: no hot water, poor cable TV reception, room was not ready / available at 6 pm, bar was closed, security was not apparent.
