Incredibly beautiful house on the outskirts of a small village. We were on the last night of a four week journey around France and this was the best place we have ever stayed in in France. The host is genial and kind but not intrusive. Nothing was too much for him but he left you alone to enjoy the house and grounds. Secure parking with a high gate, en suite bathroom with a great shower. The house is finished impeccably and very comfortable. Breakfast was great too with fresh scrambled eggs sourced from the owners own chicken. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s about 90 minutes from the ferry so makes the perfect stop if you’re travelling either way. Supermarket (Super U, if I remember correctly) about 300 metres away and a couple of eateries in the village including a Turkish one that was full on a Thursday night.
Very quiet at night. Also, Niklas, the owner has a great dog. Wonderful.

We stopped off at La Maison Au Fil de Temps for a one night stay as we holidayed in Northern France. The house was superb, our room very comfortable and spacious. The welcome was so friendly and hospitable and the evening meal was fantastic. We'll definitely return if we are in this part of France in the future.

Les gérants sont vraiment très sympathiques et proches de leurs hôtes afin de les accueillir au mieux. Chambre spacieuse et décorée avec goût. Coin repas avec une belle verrière pour un maximum de luminosité. Dîner excellent du chef Nicolas. Petit déjeuner copieux. Nous y retournerons.....

Ma mère, ma sœur et moi avons été absolument enchantées de notre passage chez Sylvie et Nicolas, dans leur demeure de 1887, joliment décorée et fort bien modernisée, où nous avons été accueillies avec chaleur, gentillesse et été vraiment choyées : la cuisine de Nicolas est raffinée et délicieuse, les gentillesse et prevenance de Sylvie très agréables (elle est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes), les lits très confortables et les chambres spacieuses, mêlant ancien et moderne avec beaucoup de goût ! Le tout pour un prix franchement super qualité / prix, eu égard au niveau des prestations offertes : c'est une très bonne adresse à connaître. Que dire sinon que nous les recommandons chaudement et vivement, et que nous reviendrons les voir avec un grand plaisir ! N.b : je n'ai pas réussi à joindre mes photos car fichier trop lourd pour l'application... Vous verrez quand vous irez (-.-) !

Une parenthèse enchantée hors du temps ! Un lieu magnifique, des hôtes merveilleux, dont 1 cuisinant parfaitement bien :-) ! Des échanges très enrichissants que ce soit sur l'histoire locale ou autre. Bref, difficile de partir après plusieurs jours !
