The staff were very accommodating, giving me an early check in and late checkout and storing my luggage as I had a late departing flight. I treated myself to a 1bedroom apar**ent which was very luxurious and I loved the opportunity to enjoy a coffee, wine and meals in my room when it was raining and not as pleasant to walk around.

I was at Hotel Gaivota because my husband got sick on a cruise and had to be hospitalized. Ponte Delgada was the closest port. I stayed at the Hotel Gaivota while he was hospitalized. The hotel was very conveniently located. It was on the coastal street near the cruise line port, near a Catholic Church, next door to a small grocery store and just 8 minutes from the hospital. The front desk staff was courteous and always ready to help me with whatever I needed. My room was very clean and the bed, sheets and pillows were comfortable. They provided a nice breakfast that was included with the room. I highly recommend this hotel.

Right on the sea front/marina, this hotel is perfectly located. A few steps to the centre of town and to the marina itself it is a great choice when visiting this town. Very friendly receptionists and efficiently run hotel. Rooms spotlessly clean and the breakfast options are multiple and set you up for the day. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend this hotel. The only negative for us was the lighting in the bedroom. Impossible to read our books at night as the lighting was so low. Possibly not an issue for most people. It would also have been nice to have hooks on the back of the bathroom door to hang towels on.

We were delighted with our stay at hotel Gaivota! We selected the premium suite and the view was amazing- such a treat!! We used this as our home base for our week on the island and will definitely be back. Close proximity to the conveniences of groceries, cafes restaurants and parking made this hotel an excellent choice for us. The rooms were clean and bright, the hotel staff were friendly and they were flexible in offering us the opportunity to purchase a parking pass for longer than originally planned. (If you are renting a car - I highly recommend purchasing their parking pass option - it really simplified things for us) They offered a morning continental style breakfast. Choices were adequate and always fresh. We had a great stay and look forward to returning!!

O hotel reúne o melhor dos Açores, desde a simpatia de todo o pessoal, desde a recepção à equipa de restaurante, bem como a equipa de limpeza e manutenção 🙌🏽 Dos melhores pequenos almoços de hotel que conheço. A localização é perfeita 🤩 e a cozinha dos apartamentos, muito bem equipado.
