It was a nice comfortable hotel. The staff was friendly and efficient. I wish there was a refrigerator in the room. The interior furnishings were fresh and modern, but the outside could be maintained better. Being so close to the water probably has challenges with salt air, but paint and power wash might make it look better on the outside.

I've enjoyed my stay! Everything was very clean, tidy and well taken care of! Very friendly and attentive staff and the breakfast and dinner were very good! The hotel has an excellent location! Very central! I liked everything! I recommend! If I return, I will return to MS Vila Nova😊

Great location close to markets, restaurants, the train station. Many sites are within walking distance. January is a good time to visit as there are less crowds and the weather has been perfect for us being from Fairbanks Alaska.

This is our second stay at this hotel. Excellent breakfast. We took half board, evening meal buffet very good. Spacious, clean room.

Nice centrally located hotel just a short walk to many restaurants and sites. Hotel is clean and breakfast is basic and could use a change up every other day as it gets a little repetitive. Pass on scrambled eggs are not real egg. Only complaint I have is there is no mini fridge in the room and as much as you think you can control the temperature in your room you can’t. The room was stuffy and I tried to turn on the air on it wouldn’t turn on. Apparently the system has to be switched for the whole hotel at once. Hotel does have fans if needed.
