Not too far to walk to the main town. Nice clean hotel and room. Large windows giving good views. Comfy bed. Room had safe and fridge (empty) but disappointed there was no tea/coffee/water. So nice to have a bath instead of just a shower. Air conditioning was not turned on so had to open window to cool room down. Staff all nice and helpful. Waiters cleared away very quickly.

The hotel is rated as a four star but in UK terms we would have put it as a 3* / 3* plus. It is a big hotel and was very busy when we were there but during the night it was very quiet. It is within easy walking distance of the harbour / sea front but is an uphill walk on the way back. The staff are great, welcoming, friendly and always around to assist guests. We had what is classed as a standard plus bedroom, which is essentially is a larger standard room with a balcony. It was fairly basic but was clean and comfortable. It had a mini fridge, as safe and hairdryer but no coffee / tea making or iron / iron board. Much as the hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable we felt it was looking a bit tired and could do with a bit of fresh decoration. Breakfast was ok, with hot food served half an hour after the start of breakfast. There is also a games room with pool table, a sauna, jacuzzi and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The bar area is comfortable with a tv showing sport - the bar staff were great. Overall a pleasant stay.

Top Hotel für Urlauber auf Sao Miguel. Nach einem Survival Trip auf Santa Maria hatten wir eigentlich nur Lust auf ne Dusche und ein Bett. Wir wurden aufs positivste überrascht. Super sauberes Hotel mit geräumigen Zimmern, großen Balkonen und ner guten Poolanlage. Das Frühstücksbuffet hätte etwas üppiger sein können, aber der Pancake-Automat etschädigte alles. Mitten in Ponta Delgada erreicht man alles in der Stadt gut zu Fuß und für die mit Mietwagen gibt’s genug Parkplätze.

It was a clean well organized hotel with a very knowledgeable staff, willing to do what ever was necessary. The breakfasts were a very broad selection of foods, all well prepared.

Bad parking. Not properly closed and therefore too many non-customers of the hotel. Breakfast could be better, too little cold cuts and no bacon. Very well located between Park Atlantique and Center.
