What an awesome find. Small walk-up hotel with the friendliest staff, good beds, great breakfast, and convenient to Ponta Delgada, just a 15 minute walk. MY only concern would be finding parking in high season, but it was no problem for us in November.

We loved the whole property: the sleek design, the amenities of breakfast and tea with cake in the afternoon and the staff were so wonderful! The owner, Nicolau was very hospitable and we looked forward to seeing both Jessica and Annabella in the morning before our days adventure. Their viewpoint of their island culture was invaluable and greatly appreciated. We loved their warmth and the fact that we didn't have to deal with a lobby full of hundreds of other customers. We highly recommend this place to travelers who want an intimate and Slow Living experience.

Stayed at Casa da Ilha for 8 nights. The stay was great! The room was clean and fresh and the really nice maid cleaned it everyday. Both the free wi-fi and air con worked great, which isn't always the case. Nice breakfast, home made bread everyday and different cheeses and cold cuts. Fresh fruit everyday. They even made us special breakfast when we needed to head out early one day, before the breakfast time, and made us a little breakfast bag to bring to our early flight. Coffee was free at all times which was nice. The hotel is a 10-15 min walk from the city centre, but with some nice restaurants around the corner, close to the ocean promenade for som nice runs and free parking just outside the door, great when going out exploring. Parking and driving in old town is a bit of a hassle. As we stayed over new years, they even put in a small bottle of sparkling wine in our room, a nice little touch! The only "negative" was that there wasn't a fridge in the room, so it was hard to buy some beers and keep cold in the room. But they hade a small "bar fridge" in the lounge that we could borrow to store some drinks and cheeses, so that wasn't really a problem. All in all, great value for money and great service at Casa da Ilha.

Weekje genieten: Warme ontvangst, persoonlijke benadering, zorgvuldig en uitgebreid ontbijt, hulp bij uitstapjes, schoon en netjes, altijd koffie/thee met lekkers. Altijd een opgemaakt bed bij thuiskomst Mogelijkheid om buiten te zitten met een wijntje en lekkers. Kortom: heerlijk genoten in een goed verblijf!

We loved our 4 night stay at the little boutique inn on the outskirts of Ponta Delgada. The staff was super friendly and helpful (including the cleaning lady), the breakfast was delicious, and the rooms quiet and comfortable. The inn is about a 10 minute walk into town to the Ponta Delgada marina along the ocean, but there are several excellent restaurants within five minutes.

Hotel boutique en Punta Delgada, Azores, bien ubicado. Muy mono y cómodo tanto para parejas como familia o amigos. Pocas habitaciones, muy “familiar”. Los anfitriones y de servicio fueron muy amables. El desayuno muy bueno! Súper recomendable para unos días por San Miguel.

Pulizia ottima , la camera viene pulita e rifatti i letti ogni giorno!accoglienza super ( consigli su cosa fare , dove mangiare …) Colazione molto buona ( salata , dolce, frutta)!
