+ Close to the centre. The receptionist kindly allowed us to check in early. Clean room. Friendly staff.
- The breakfast is not very nice. Horrible coffee. The bread and coffee are better at the supermarket across the road. Unfortunately double is 2 twin beds together.

Wanted: a conveniently-located comfortable hotel. Found: the Hotel Matriz. Flight delays from Lisbon meant I arrived after midnight but the night manager took care of all my needs. A comfortable room but looking out on a major building project - the only thing to see from my window. I didn't come here for the view, so no problem (although the noise at my siesta time was a bit invasive). In the room, everything I would expect of this category hotel. Breakfast was adequate but, after a week, it gets a bit repetitive. Car parking (free) is three floors below the hotel and best if the rental car is SMALL! Would I stay there again? ABSOLUTELY!

We had a very nice stay. The property was fine although nothing special except the great location. There didn't seem to be a lot of other hotels near the city center and this one's location certainly made for an enjoyable visit to Puerto Delgado.

Relação qualidade preço simplesmente imbatível. Um atendimento simpático, com uma boa disposição a fazer-nos sentir em casa. Limpeza impecável. Parque de estacionamento gratuito. Bom pequeno almoço. Um 3* que recomendo vivamente. Parabéns

Hôtel très bien placé dans le centre de Ponta Delgada. Le personnel est vraiment top 👍 Les chambres sont basiques mais très propres. Un petit rafraîchissant serait à faire comme le remplacement des moquettes et la réparation des coffres forts dans les chambres. Côté petit déjeuner, c’est simple mais ça suffit largement pour commencer une bonne journée.

Nothing to point out. It was the first time I stayed at the Hotel Matriz. I highlight the magnificent service, cleanliness and of course, its privileged location in the center of the city. It has private parking (floor -3). Despite the relief of preventive measures against COVID19, there is (and is good) the concern in maintaining some preventive measures. Varied and sufficient breakfast. I will come back !!

After leaving our first accommodation after 2 nights of a 7 night stay because of road noise we found this gem of a hotel. The reception was very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely quiet room whist still being central to all the city offered. Breakfast was nice too. Thank you for all your help.

in centro zona tranquilla buon hotel pulito personale gentile. colazione compresa ma purtroppo non siamo riusciti visto orario del volo molto presto. camere non grandi ma pulite e confortevoli. wifii in tutte le camere . bagno pulito come tutta la camera direi piacevole
