Best Pet friendly Hotels in Ponte A Bozzone

We had an overall excellent experience at Certosa Di Pontignano. After staying primarily in city centre locations for our European adventure, we decided to try something historic and country side oriented while having a rental car in Tuscany. This place looked beautiful from website and pictures, and fascinating to stay somewhere with 800 years of history under its belt. The location 15 minutes from central Siena is great - it's very quiet and serene. It may be tough to get to without a car, but the drive was easy. Not much around it in terms of restaurants, stores, etc - however that's kind of the point. There are 2 EV chargers onsite - unfortunately both were down for maintenance. Good thing we rented a hybrid which didn't completely rely on these. The chargers don't belong to the hotel, so outside of their responsibility. The property is fascinating, and beautifully landscaped. There are 2 huge courtyards, and a fabulous garden on one side. The architecture is interesting, and you can feel the history in every corner. We were in a 2 bedroom apartment, which was full of character and spacious. The main bedroom upstairs was a bit precarious to get to, due to a very steep staircase - however it was comfortable. No A/C, however it seemed cool overall, and there were fans in the closets if we needed them. The beds were a bit on the hard side, however we slept well. Breakfast on the terrace was great - with an almost unending selection of good quality food. A great way to start the day. We would definitely consider staying here again.
