Thank you for a stay, Amazing reception team is very helpful. The hotel is very well situated, close to ferry port. The restaurant needs refurbishment, but the team is doing their best, and the food was nice. Definitely will come back with my family

Tired looking hotel. Avoid a room at the far end as you will spend ages walking up and down the long corridor. Unfortunately the chefs can't cook and the quality of the breakfast is poor. A under cooked steak finished me off. The bed is good as usual, but lack of toiletries in the room meant i had to buy my own.

The staff in the most part were friendly, and helpful. We did find the receptionist particularly so. However, the person greeting people at breakfast was less so. Although this may have been due to the number of people he is expected to deal with.

We were in room 14 on the ground floor. The room was made up for us as a family with two single beds and a double. The bedding seemed clean but the whole room smelt of damp. There was poo around the back of the toilet seat and dust in the corners of the bathroom floor, so obviously not cleaned thoroughly each time. There was an old, used plaster on the carpeted floor in the main room. I was pleased that we had only booked one night and were literally using the room to sleep in. The corridor to our room had rubbish on the floors and smelt musty. We ate breakfast in the restaurant. It was fine. hot food was fresh and the kids loved the warm pastries. Staff were friendly and obviously working hard. With so many places to stay around this area i personally won't book here again.

Just returned from Premier Inn, Holes Bay. All staff extremely friendly and helpful however overall the hotel is a bit tired and needs some updating. No air con, so glad I didn't stay in warmer months although you could open the windows but had to close them when you want to sleep due to road noise. We kept feeling vibrations when in bed (room 102) so did a neighbouring room (104), not sure whether it was traffic, lift or from doors in reception below but strange. Food was OK in restaurant but very under-staffed for a busy hotel. We had to wait an hour last night for food! I would stay here again but would opt to eat out or get a takeaway delivered. I should say however that when the food did arrive it was very nice.

Good night's sleep in a busy hotel staff are friendly and helpful room was clean The restaurant needs some attention in regards to service times and food quality though as we were told 15 minute wait for food in the evening and it took half an hour and then it was cold! The cooked breakfast was all cold the only thing that was warm was the beans

Fabulous location, the room was comfortable with a brilliant mattress on the bed for a great nights sleep. No road noise from the adjacent dual carriage way, with the windows closed. Easy access into Poole via a walkway running alongside the dual carriageway

We found the hotel ideal for a two night stay. Having booked were surprised by negative reviews. Bed as comfortable as ever, breakfasts fine, we ate in on the Sunday evening, menu at a suitable price point. Samuel was an excellent server. Some of the negative comments may have related to the busy and hot summer season. Very few UK hotels have ac there were 2 fans in the room. There is a relatively busy road nearby, but staying in October we had the window closed, and no disturbance. Yes - the bar area and restaurant may be showing their age a little, but the ambiance in the latter was good. Car parking is currently free. It gives you what it says on the tin - value for money, good situation and a good nights sleep.

Hotel is very rundown with many things in need of updating/replacing. Told by member of staff that hotel refurbishment has been brought forward to January 2025. It should be done now. This hotel not up by to usual PI standard and clearly has not been for some time. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable as usual and all staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good quality and value for money but cooked food not hot. Need to put lids on heated containers to help with that. Would visit this PI again as location very good to access Poole centre, but NOT until it's been refurbished
