Peccato... / The Hotel is easy to reach and has a nice large car park. The room we occupied for four days was well prepared and tidy. The structure is located a few meters from the sea in an area very well served with access to the sea, showers, fitness paths; the deckchairs are available to anyone who takes them and cost 7 euros per day, if you leave leave a towel to indicate that they are occupied. The structure is accessible to everyone up to the ground floor, the upper floors only with a lift and there are no accessible facilities for disabled people. In the room the bathroom was small and there was no bidet. The well-equipped shower was full of limescale and the back sprays were unusable as was the foot shower and the shower head was soft and unstable, in short you can't take a comfortable shower. The swimming pool has a pleasant temperature but the structure is in a very poor state of maintenance, dirt on the bottom, the air recirculation structure is in an awkward state, rusty beams, the step between the pool and the walkable path is indistinguishable , there is fall hazard. Fitness center unusable, treadmill absent, exercise bike not connected to the electricity grid as well as the rowing machine; sauna closed, wellness treatments absent. The glass elevator is full of dirt and in an embarrassing state of repair. Free parking according to Booking costs €10 per day. Breakfast is ra

Peccato.

We had a rowdy family with young kids directly above our room (203). When we arrived mid afternoon there was a continual rumble of bangs above us from the floor above. After 40 minutes of this I rang reception, who replied with details of what the kids were doing. They suggested I contact them if it was still happening when we returned from eating out. It is still happening at 9.30 the following evening. Breakfast was good except for using instant coffee. Managed to get proper coffee from the bar which they then wanted to charge us for. Tin eared management.

We stayed with a large group for 3 nights at Hotel Flores. We were in room 6, which was a large room with 2 beds together to make one large bed. There was a TV, A/C, small fridge with a minibar, 2 large comfy chairs which might have had a pull out bed in them, 1 chair and desk, a safe that used a key (and you had to go to reception to get the key) , phone and two night stands. There were lots of drawers. The floor was a wood floor. The beds had fluffy blankets (comforters) which I don't like. There was a patio, with 2 doors to it. The bathroom had a shower only, and no bar soap, only liquid soap. The hotel had a big pool and jacuzzi on the first floor. The water was only luke warm, and you had to get reception to turn on the jets. Breakfast was included, and it had quite a selection. You could eat indoors or outdoors. There was a bar in the restaurant area, and that's where you went to get ice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a map of Istria in the lobby, and that was helpful. It was a short walk to the "beach" and there were lots of trees for shade along the whole seafront. This was besides all the trees around the hotel. The walk into the old city was about a 10 or 15 minute walk. There was a ****** nearby on that walk. We would stay there again.

I booked this hotel for the gym and sauna. Nothing was working! All gym equipment (which are like 4 things) are not working. The sauna was closed for Maintanance as they had problems with it for the whole season. The room is ok but the ac was super loud. Apparently the ac problem is not common in w wry room but my luck is that the ac needed spare parts which they have not procured. Location is good. The value for money is not worth it.

Visited as part of a group tour and stayed 2 nights. Quiet location, handy for the beach, but a 3-400 meter stroll along the front from the centre of the old town. The staff were ok but lacked the enthusiasm shown by most Croatians who work in hospitality. For a supposedly 4 star establishment they need to try a bit harder. The lift was out of order so we had to carry our own luggage up to our rooms and there was no offer of assistance. The rooms were comfortable but lacked the attention to detail such as the curtains being hung properly, the windows being adjusted correctly and the usual shower head not locking in place on the riser rail. Breakfast needed attention to the layout with an example being the bread and pastries on one side of the room and the butter and jams 10 meters away on the opposite side. A comprehensive range of Teas didn't include anything resembling suitable breakfast tea. The icing on the cake was a 7 euro charge for a lost room key which I thought was over the top for a bit of plastic and 60 seconds of I.T. work. I will look elsewhere when I return to Porec.

Consigliato
