First the good: room was in good shape including a nice mini fridge and a fantastic view. Staff were friendly and aside from my traffic noise complaints below, the location was pretty darn good. At this point in my review I would have given my visit five stars, but Now for the bad it's absolutely terrible for noise. Completely heard footsteps for hours and banging upstairs not from them being too loud but from just minimal sound insulation. And the windows are single pane meaning you hear everything outside in terms of traffic and people and the clock that rings every half hour. I don't know how people can sleep in those conditions and I am certainly not one of them.

We had a wonderful view of the water!
The facility is clean and comfortable and well maintained.
The bathroom heater did not work.
The desk staff wasn't able to help with local information for venues and such, but luckily the old downtown is easy to explore.

This was a lovely unexpected stay in Port Angeles when I missed the ferry to Victoria. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even called me after my stay because I had left an item, and kept it safely for me when I returned.

It was a great stay! While the rooms are outdated the rooms were very clean and we had a beautiful view of the port! Thankfully I had no issues in the AC side of things since it’s chilly out but the heat worked great! I never tried the breakfast so I cannot speak to that but it is so close to plenty of other places downtown! The only issue we had was one of the nights it stormed pretty bad and the windows were shaking so bad I thought they were going to blow out, but otherwise it’s a great, clean stay and for a good price at this time of the year! Staff was very friendly and helpful too (:
