We have stayed here 5 times now and love the place. No fuss with a perfect location for great restaurants and the shopping area. Our accommodation has a great kitchen and with Cole’s 5min walk along the road you can cook up your own banquet. Lovely people and great facilities. 2 pools. 1 quiet chilling out pool and 1 for families. Nice new bbq in the pool area with outside dining. Excellent car parking. No fuss and comfortable in the best location.

Lovely chilled out resort. Clean rooms, nice staff, great location for everything you need in Port D. We had a 2 bed ground floor apartment and it was very private and spacious. The kitchen was well fitted out for our 3 night break. Beach towels were supplied too.

An absolute gem of a hotel! Perfect location for both Marina and the beach. Hotel was designed like a Mediterranean style villa. With rooms overlooking a courtyard with 2 pools. Loved the layout of the spacious rooms. Beautiful balcony. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We were on a month long road trip staying at lots of different hotels. This was in my top 3. Great facilities including free WIFI, free washing machines and dryers. Definitelyrecommend.. woukd love to have stayed longer. .

Villa San Michelle is ideally located in Port Douglas and hood parking facilities on site. Our room was at the back of the building, completely surrounded with tall trees and swamp area. This prevented any natural daylight and we needed the lights on all day. Because of the risk of insects we were unable to use the balcony and needed the door closed all the times as the screen did not close tight, this made feel claustrophobic. We had to use the aircon 24 hours a day. The room was dark and depressing but clean and well appointed. The guest laundry was good with plenty of machines.

This is excellent accomodation for a number of reasons. 1. Excellent location as it is on centre of main street in Port Douglas. 2. The facilities in terms of kitchen and dining area is excellent with a very efficient air conditioning system. 3. Staff dealing with me were excellent. Example is where we could not arrive on time that a key was left to be collected in order to have access to our rooms at the reception area.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa San Michelle. For the price, the quality was great. We asked for a private, quiet apartment and it was delivered. The apartment was tastefully renovated and clean. There was a problem with the bedroom aircon but it was tended to quickly. There was a dishwasher convection microwave and stovetop, which was pleasing. The shower was lovely and nice private small courtyard. The pool was shaded and the other in the sun, which was good. We would recommend Villa San Michelle to our friends and family.
