What a great day we spent at this beautiful location! From arrival, everything was ready for us promptly at 2 pm and we had time to relax at the pool. Then our anticipated Giraffe Game drive happened around 5:30 pm and it was different that other drives because here we could walk around the bush and get closer to the giraffes!! Great moment, great memories, great property. The dinner afterwards and morning breakfast were both very good as well. Thanks for the fun time. The reserve is close to the North Entrance of Addo so it was very convenient for our continued travels.

We had an amazing stay. The dinner cooked by the hosts was incredible. It is a must to book the giraffe safari on the farm itself. This was an experience we will never forget. In addition, Vanessa was so lovely in giving us so many tips for the Addo park and a safari (incl. visit times, safe roads etc.)

The hotel is beautiful; big rooms, friendly staff, nice pool. We also booked a giraffe safari with our stay, this was so cool. We walked to the giraffes till very close by. After the safari dinner was ready which was also good. Overall a very good experience.

The place is excellent for relaxing and refreshing and connecting with nature I recommend this place for anyone looking to take a brake from the busy schedule of life in just relaxing to gain strength.

leuke lodge, ruime kamers. Ontbijt en diner ter plekke, niet in de prijs. Klein, maar keer zwembadje met uitzicht op de natuur. Diverse dieren vrijlopend in de reserve. Wandelmogelijkheden en mogelijkheid voor een game drive, waarbij de gioraffen de hoofdmoot vormen. Spreek hier niet uit eigen ervaring, omdat we er maar 1 nacht waren op doorreis.

A great stop over to take in and watch nature. We loved the giraffe drive. Even thought the giraffes are viewable from the lodge, the knowledgable guide and chance to get up close, provided a memorable moment. The owners and staff gave extremely useful information for visiting Addo Elephant reserve and the route to get there. Good home cooking.

Highly recommend a stay in Valley Bushveld Game Reserve. Excellent accommodation, great food and super, friendly staff. Wonderful game drives by Kerneels at both sunrise or sunset. Superb signposted walks on the property with Giraffes & Zebra literally on your doorstep. Ideal location if planning to visit Addo Elephant National Park. Also nearby is the Daniell Cheetah project. Thank you Kerneels, Vanessa, Wayne, Lorinda & all for making our stay so special.

I never thought it would be that nice - it's a wonderful peaceful lodge. Early in the morning you can safely walk around, see the game in sunrise and then enjoy the wonderful breakfast. Venessa and her daughter are very kind, friendly and helpful people. Unfortunately my stay was to short and therefor I missed the ride to the giraffes at the lodge, but I heard that the others been excited and they could realize the that Venessa's husband put his heart and soul into it - sure next time I won't miss that. I can highly recommened this lodge!
