YAY: Heated towel racks, lock garage, big king size bed, big king size bathroom, sparkling water NAY: blind on door (upstairs room on entrance) was broken, aircon and TV functions dysfunctional, street noise, towels can be bigger..."king-sized" to match.... Disclaimer: review is over a year late.....as still unpacking memories and reviews....

Lovely stay in this beautiful area of Port Elizabeth. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful rooms, nice pool area and restaurant, close to the beach. Very friendly service. Nice atmosphere! We enjoyed staying close to the water, not far from the Humewood Golf Course. Very safe and private area.

Room was ok, aircon didn‘t work, didn‘t get much information from the staff but were friendly, pool wasn‘t very clean and very cold but for our purpose for the one night it was good enough The lodge has lots of potential and it would be a pity not looking after it, anyhow we won‘t be back but that has more to do about PE itself and not necessarily about the lodge.

The facilities were clean and beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back. They made sure that I was aware of all the facilities that were available to me. The grounds were lovely and the room was great. They provided towels, soap, shampoo and per standard and even provided face cloths. I am very satisfied with .y experience

Rooms don’t have hair dryers, kettles not working properly. Breakfast was below average (would have rather gone to a local restaurant to eat breakfast). Poor quality for 4* hotel. I would not go back if I were bringing guests from out of town.

Fair enough for the price. Nice room, but a bild old and need maintenance. For example our bath had an issue and water was splitting below it. The swimming pool looks very dirty. We didn't go in it. Staff was ok. The person at the reception was nice and ready to help.

We had to change rooms after we'd unpacked on the first day due to there being no hot water in the room we booked. The second room didn't have the same DStv package or a microwave. Loved the bath in the room and breakfast was generous! So despite the loss in our booking we enjoyed our stay!
