Water view room with beautiful bedding and furnishings. The restaurant service was top notch and food was delicious. The marina was lovely with privately owned vessels being attended by their owner's. Inviting rooms and beautiful breakfast served in a timely fashion.

Step back in time into an older style pub/accommodation. The room was large (a little dark)and bed comfortable. There was a large and light communal lounge room upstairs were you could make a cuppa and heat up something to eat. The art deco lounge and restaurant below were tastefully done. Food in the restaurants were good. A good spot to base yourself to explore the area.

Exceptionally disappointing dining experience. Chose the bar for the ambience and atmosphere and the staff were pleasant. Chose the seafood platter for 2, the website quoted $95, the menu showed it at $105 but when it came time to pay the bill we were charged $110 plus a service fee. There was no mention of that fee in the printed menu or any signage in the bar area either. To say the serving was scant is an understatement, a platter for 2 should include 2 of everything by we only received one each of a portion of salmon, curried mussels and scallops, chips and salad. The servings of oysters, squid and prawns were as per the descriptor in the menu but certainly weren’t huge. Maybe we would have been better off with a parmi? Don’t think I’d even call in for a beer In future!
