Motel 6 Port Lavaca, TX

Hotel room was smaller than expected. Dew outlets and no Hotel phone, but after we git comfortable, the room worked out well. Hotel room card for unlocking door did not always work, but that can be fixed by management.

Every time we stay here it has always been great. Room very clean and the staff is amazing.

The staff were very kind and considerate to our needs.

Parking access need to be improved. Everything else is ok

Hotel refused to allow my 20yo son to check into the room I had rented. They insisted I leave my job as a local ER doctor to travel to the motel to check in my son - in the middle of life-threatening emergencies some of their own neighbors were experiencing to whom I was attending. He was staying at the motel so he could safely drive me back home the next morning after 24 hour shift. The hotel then refused to reimburse my refundable charge because I attempted to cancel the reservation after check-in was due. I am hopeful for a safe trip home (4 hr drive) for my son & I in spite of the greed & malice of this motel.

The property management was very helpful. I accidentally locked myself out of my room and the cleaning staff were kind enough to let me back in.

Updated rooms are very nice. It can get noisy at times in the parking lot and since doors face outside, it can be easily heard

Booked the room and arrived before 3pm. First time in Port Lavaca. Greeted by Jacob. Jacob is a warm, genuine, professional! Unfortunately, rooms were closed due to upgrades. The only room available was pool side. I cancelled.
