I was a bit apprehensive when booking this motel after reading a very negative TA review. Neither did I like the idea of self check-in, as I always find this very impersonal. But almost everything turned out fine. Large room, nice view, if you don't look too closely at the gigantic grain silo, and all the facilities you need for a few nights' stay, including a sofa to relax on and a microwave for doing your own dinners. It was a bit of a walk to the shops, though, if you don't have your own wheels. And there is no public transport, and taxis are very expensive. The free WiFi did not always work, which could be a bit frustrating, but if you are with Telstra you won't need to worry. The Lincoln Hotel is across the road if you want breakfast, lunch or dinner or just a cup of real coffee. You could even stay here, but it'd cost you a lot extra. The Blue Seas is budget-friendly, and I'd stay here again any time.
