It is fair to say Resta is the best hotel in Port Said in terms of quality of service, helpful staff, unique location and room/hotel facilities. Our room no 235 was well maintained and cleaned properly; it had lovely smell and superb location on the Suez Canal. It is unique to find ship parked next to the hotel. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the authentic delicious food. Many thanks Mr Tarek and Ahmed for ensuring that our demands were met. Many thanks the Executive Chef for the perfect cooking. Many thanks Mr Alaa Shehata Sales Director who facilitated all process and arrangements for my reservation in very short notice. Many thanks Mr Mohamed Zaki hotel GM for great hospitality. Many thanks Mr Mohamed Abdel Salam for welcoming us. Many thanks Rihan El Swisy and Yasmeen for ensuring all room requirements are provided. Many thanks front office team morning and evening for efficient service. Highly recommended hotel to stay in when visiting beautiful Port Said.

We went to Port Said to spend a weekend and chill. We stayed at Resta Hotel based on online reviews. We wish we didn't! The place is rundown and rooms need total renovation. The room had a smoking smell even though we asked for a non-smoking room. Tge city itself is a must to visit but don't stay at Resta!

Very nice hotel and it's place is really great it has a great seaview from the rooms plus it close to everything. It close to post fouad and to port saied downtown and it is in the sea but still inside the city and their prices were really good and the city totally worth the visit.

Amazing stuff , perfect location, everything was more than perfect, i recommend everyone to visit it, starting from the view ,location, services, hospitality But the rooms only for 2 if u get an extra bed so go for a suite 😍😍😍 they have a well trained staff

Pros : Great location Great views Clean rooms Helpful enough staff Free parking Cons : No a single staff member wore a mask Bar has limited selection of drinks Breakfast has no meat options whether hot or cold WiFi was kinda slow Despite all the cons.. I will keep coming back cuz I love the views and I have a lot of memories here but the place is nowhere near how it was as a sonesta Portsaid is a lovely small town for a one night chill especially in winter

We have stayed at Resta Hotel for 5 nights, We reserved two rooms, the level of the cleaning wasn’t good at all! The floor was dusty and the closet was dirty like never been wiped! The room service only came once during the five nights! What a horrible service! The breakfast was ok! If you sat by the pool area you are not allowed to have food from outside! Which was disappointed for us! The food at their cafeteria is expensive and not tasty! The refrigerator in the room too small and barely working! When my kids swim at the pool, several times they didn’t get a towel! Even if the asked!!There’s a big difference between the old owner Sonesta and Resta! Very disappointing service for a great location hotel!!!

I visited the hotel on August 11th for 3 nights, on our last night after housekeeping cleaned the room I didn’t find my AirPods Pro. First I didn’t suspect anything and kept looking but didn’t find it and called the reception, they said that housekeepers were already gone and they’ll ask them first thing in the morning. The next day (checkout day) they told me same person who cleaned the room called sick and didn’t come today! The same moment another person was reporting that also his AirPods Pro was stolen! It seems like housekeepers are targeting specific items and no one from hotel management even cared. Won’t recommend at all
