Great location, but The Guest Lodge needs to be cleaned, lockers we smelling of something I can’t even begin to explain. The micro wave was not properly functioning. On our first day, they gave us dirty white towels. There was no security, outsiders would come dine and drink alcohol on the premises!

Nach längerer Suche nach einer Abfahrt von der N2 zum Lake Eland Game Reserve (wir landeten immer wieder an unwegsamen Gravel Roads als angebliche Zufahrt nach Lake Eland) gaben wir unser Vorhaben, dort 3 Tage in der Abenteuer und Natur pur versprechenden spektakulären Landschaft zu verbringen, auf, zumal es inzwischen auch dunkel geworden war. Wir fuhren daher weiter zur Küste und fanden in Port Shepstone die Unterkunft The Tweni Waterfront, deren Restaurant zwar schon geschlossen hatte, wo wir dann aber - wenn auch nicht gerade luxuriös - übernachten konnten, um am nächsten Morgen nach Ballito weiterzufahren. Das Zimmer war wenig einladend, hatte zwar Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und Kaffeetassen, das Bett war aber unbequem, die Deckenbeleuchtung funktionierte nicht, im Fensterbereich war die Zimmerdecke verschimmelt.

I stayed for just the two nights, did not use any of the facilities, as i was with a group who were staying across the river, overall, i would recommend your establishment, as i good holiday destination and could imagine that over holidays must have a great vibe. One possible problem carpark could get a bit full and crowded.

This place advertise so nice, but in the mean time it really is not. The rooms were very un neat and we had to get someone to clean the showers because is was black of the mold. The floors were so full of sand you could not walk bare foot on it. There is no heater or aircon to speak of. The DSTV is pathetic and only had selected channels. Never in our lives again thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay, however there was a noise at night and early hours of the morning as if a generator was running or whenever another guest uses the shower it was pretty noisy.We also had to continuously get new WiFi passwords

This is the second time staying at this place and my team. The host is really quick to respond when booking and always clarifies things so there are no surprises. The place is clean and would definitely book again.

Great views, clean rooms, great location. We enjoyed our stay. The place is peacefull, secured and very nice. Even without own transpor it us very easy getting a taxi to ither places nearby. Definitely going back in the near future.

The Staff was so excited for our stay and very friendly. Made us felt right at home from the minute we stepped into the reception. Room was clean, beautiful and cozy. We could even see the sea and the sunrise. Place was easy to come and go as we pleased. Gate was user friendly and the parking was save. Even at the Casa Mia Restaurant we had a great time. Food was delicious, affordable and waitresses friendly.
