Clean friendly hotel brilliant breakfast . Definitely stay again

Excellent stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a helpful booklet with lots of information about the lodge and local places of interest including restaurants. The breakfast the next morning was delightful with lots of choice, lovely decor throughout the property too. Steve and Clair are excellent hosts and it’s clear they’ve got a passion for giving their guests a great stay. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

I booked this place as wanted to take my husband away for his 60th and spoil him . We would normally stay at my friends or my sisters ( one lives in Bangor the other Caernarfon) but my sister was away and my friend doesn't have the space at the moment . We sometimes have booked a couple of nights in a B&B or hotel as well as staying at friends / sisters. Knowing the area ( Gwynedd ) as I lived there many years ago ( Llanrug ) I knew Portmadog would be a could choice . The B&B is in a great location , walking distance to centre , train station even 2 mins from Tesco / Aldi and Lidl . Don't let this put you off as it was quiet and beautiful. Clair was super friendly and even greeted us at the door upon arriving . I had booked the large double room which had everything you could need . The art work on the walls everywhere was beautiful. I loved the one in our room . Even had rituals shampoo / body wash etc in the bathroom. ( shower which was good power ) spotless / clean room. Breakfast was amazing . Best breakfast we have had anyway and we are well travelled . Even had cappuccinos at breakfast ( only coffee I drink ) . We unfortunately never met Clair"s husband Steven but we will 100% be back and will book the cottage next time . Clair and Steven you should be so proud of your beautiful place . I'd shout from the roof tops to recommend Tudor Lodge to anyone .

Third stay at Tudor Lodge and it gets better every stay. More like a boutique hotel than a B&B, rooms are stylish and comfortable with extra touches like fresh milk in fridge. Breakfast is a delight, choice of porridge, cereals, fruit, nuts, seeds, yogurt, meats, cheeses, pastries plus a freshly cooked breakfast of your choice. Great location with short walk from train station or plenty of parking if needed. I would highly recommend Tudor Lodge.

If you’re looking for a nice hotel that is value for money then this is it. This hotel is immaculately clean and attention to detail has not been spared. The rooms are very comfortable, breakfast is exceptional with many options to choose from.

Great place to stay with super helpful and friendly service. Excellent location for exploring beautiful North Wales. Excellent breakfast and very comfortable well equipped room. Would definitely stay again.
