NH Marina Portimao Resort Reviews

Location of the resort is spot on. Good to stay who likes all SUPs, surfing etc. Resort is okay with amenities. You will not find any toiletries other than shampoo, body wash in bathroom so bring your own. I booked 4 bed apartment. one double bed and one sofa cum bed. Double bed was really good but at the same time sofa cum bed was not so comfortable. Room was very cold when we and it took whole night to get warm with heater. Swimming pool is ofcourse not in use due to winter time. so all in all the stay was okay, we can get better service, amenities, facility with the same room rates in other hotels.

Great position and perfect solution for people who want to visit the Algarve. Perfect the restaurants and the breakfast wonderful (also for the scenery who is served the buffet). The problem were the ants in the room. The room was at the ground floor, but the ants in the room were too much

A truly great experience!! Room was comfortable and housekeeping excellent. Well placed with a view of the Marina. The highlight of each morning of my 5 night stay was the Breakfast. Fantastic choice and everything well cooked and presented. The staff, particularly the trainees, were always friendly and obliging. I couldn't fault anything about the Breakfast at all. The situation of the Hotel was ideal for me but might not suit everyone as it was sited out of the Town. A beautiful beach was adjacent to the Hotel and even out of season there were a variety of Restaurants nearby. All staff, the Receptionists, Restaurant staff and Housekeeping were outstanding, always greeted me with a smile and very helpful.

Beautiful and clean hotel close to the marina where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to visit.

Great hotel! I went during the Easter holiday, the staff are very enthusiastic, and the scenery is very good~ The price is a bit higher than usual but acceptable, very good, I will come back next time I have a chance

Everything has been very positive. The hotel is perfect for traveling as a family or as a couple. We have rested and enjoyed everything.

Great beach. Easy parking (easy at night. Day time is not so as beach goers take up a lot of spots) Very good breakfast.

Enjoyed the NH Marina Portimão. Friendly staff. The room was spacious, a bit older, but very clean. We were in the Marina side. There is also Deck & Sun side. The brunch was really delicious and lots of options. Would recommend staying there.

The hotel location is excellent. Close to the beach, restaurants and outings. The breakfast is just amazing…champagne etc. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great location and breakfast. Excellent check in. Convenient parking and nice deck facing marina. Only issue was thin walls/ loud guest. No lights in kitchenette area or frying pan (we did not cook so not an issue for us). Will stay here again if we return to the Algarve area.

Truly a sensational location and experience. Close to the water and right on the marina. Staff are fantastic and very helpful. Beaches are close and are clean and outstanding. Breakfast was fantastic and was a great way to start each morning. Close to other cities for site seeing and touring. This location made our first trip to the Algarves and Portugal one to remember! I can understand why this would be good for budget travelers but I wasn’t particularly comfortable. The pool and buffet breakfast were lovely. The room and bedding were average.

Kitchen facility was good but needed soap and towels. Plenty of food at breakfast but hot food was barely warm.
