We chose this hotel because it rated well and appeared to be the closest to the airport. We were very pleased with our choice. We were advised on TA forums not to walk from the airport at night. We called the hotel shuttle. They said five minutes. I think the driver arrived in three minutes. Nice. The driver was pleasant. We commented that the distance was short enough that we could have walked, and the area seemed safe. The driver told us that the area had a SKUNK problem and advised us not to walk at night due to that issue. Good to know! The next morning we decided to risk skunks and walked a very short distance to the rental car pick-up. I would advise walkers to turn right after leaving the hotel instead of left, as I believe this is shorter. There is a snack shop available for anyone arriving late needing food like we did. The room was a nice suite with separate bedroom and roomy sink area for the bathroom. Breakfast was extensive and probably the best we had on our trip. The price was high, but I think it was worth it for the convenience. I really don’t have any other complaints.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling into the Portland area, especially if just need a place to rest for the night. The hotel is updated and has a nice modern feel. It's very clean, the staff is great. Very nice lobby and restaurant area. I booked a one-bedroom suite. My only complaint is there was no door between the bedroom and living room. I book often at Embassy Suites because having the living room between the hallway and the bedroom is a nice noise buffer. Thankfully the hotel is quiet and it didn't make a difference. But just be aware. The breakfast was great and the omelette especially was fantastic. Can't beat a free breakfast!

My spouse and I loved the amenities in our one bedroom suite. It was spotless and very comfortable. The only downside was the room was dark. We had a drink at the bar- very nice- and the hot breakfast was great. We only stayed for one night and would definitely stay again.

I always find this hotel very likable and comfortable. This last time I think probably the season, it was getting a little bit less clean than usual. Staff as usual friendly. Shuttle in time.
