I had booked through Priceline and used PayPal to pay. It was rainy as I arrived at the hotel 1:30 am. They said they do not accept cash pre-payments from third parties like Priceline and if I wanted to stay I have to either pay the hotel again, get Priceline to send them CC info I actually used it is impossible to have not used a credit card, or they would give my room away (they had someone ready to rent a room and were booked up.) After Priceline got Wyndham to fix it up 30 mins later I went to get my car parked. The lot is not that well lit you may feel quite unsafe as all the doors are locked. Guests may not escape weather or unsavory characters and you are a sitting duck trying to get your key to unlock it using the reader next to the exit doors. The guy at the desk, who never heard of paying for a hotel room with Cash, then told me it always surprises him that people complain about the room-card readers not working on any of the doors, the keys do not open them, they are always locked and you have to go in the main door. And he said these things like we are all stupid. The place is rundown overall (paint dull/carpets overdue for replacement), and while the bathroom was looking clean the tub drain didn't work. At this point I had such trust issues I could not bring myself to eat the free breakfast so I left.
