Heights hotel is a beautiful spot in Portland, nice location and perfect scenery, not very far from the sea,hotel is nice but shame we had to stay in twin room would have been a perfect stay if we could have double bed

Hotel Heights was a beauty! Views of the sea from the heights of the Island! Beautiful spot!
We were greeted by Lynn, she was welcoming, warm and genuine and went above and beyond to help us out with checking in, local amenities and tour of hotel! Thank you Lynn!

Lovely hotel great staff great food and stunning views from the hotel just really enjoyed this hotel everything about the hotel from location friendly staff lovely menu choices the parking bedrooms were lovely and spotless reception staff were really helpful nothing was too much trouble I would really recommend this hotel well worth a visit

Excellent from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we knew we'd be well looked after. It was so clean throughout. The welcome was warm, the food was hot and the weather superb. Free parking on-site which is a bonus. All you can eat buffet breakfast was delicious. Rooms immaculate. Staff are lovely and so friendly.

Enjoyed our two night stay here, dinner bed and breakfast. Food was very good at both times and the view while you eat is unbeatable. Room was comfortable and quiet but not cleaned our tidied between nights. Would be good to put an ev charger in the car park.

Had a few days stay in Portland Bill at The Heights Hotel. We were greeted as we booked in. The room was nice and clean, the bathroom also. Water was really hot in the shower and pleanty of pressure. The bed was very comfortable. During our stay we ate in the hotel bistro, the food and service was excellent. The staff were very cheerful and went out of their way to make sure we were OK. There was a very tall lady on reception who's name I cannot remember but she was outstanding and very helpful to my queries. Would recommend and would use again.

My family moved to Portland last year so during the Winter months when my husband is working I travel to Portland with my Aunty. We normally stay at the Admiralty but we decided that we would try the Heights. We found the Heights to be more organised with a 24 hour reception and good service but we were a little disappointed with the room that we were put in as we did not have a sea view nothing compared to our view from the Admiralty. We found the room slightly smaller as well and although the ensuite was better we were disappointed with having no toiletries other than a shower gel/hair wash on the wall and one soap. We also found the towels were quite small especially what was meant to be a bath towel.
The service at breakfast was great as was the breakfast there was a good choice of continental and cooked.
Would we re-visit? Im not sure...it would depend on the price comparison for the two hotels at the time we would look at visiting.

Went here with husband , to celebrate valentines day and it was wonderful. From foods to service all is perfect. Amazing view as well.

We had such a wonderful two days here last summer that we are going to book again. The staff were brilliant and very attentive, especially Belinda in the restaurant. The food was excellent- but more than anything it was the stunning views across Chesil Beach that really made my stay. Really cannot wait to return.
