I confirmed with the front desk that I have arranged daily cleaning, but I forgot to give a tip on the first day and did not clean. Leave a tip the next day and clean it. No slippers, now American hotels don’t give slippers? The hotel's restaurant is delicious, and parking is free.

Hotel checkin was ok, the hotel and room are dated but refurbished. My major issue was the sewer backup in the bathtub containing what appeared to be fecal matter, I woke up early am to this. I was given another room but nothing was done for the inconvenience or breathing in fecal matter in the air.

Stay was sufficient for an early morning flight. Seemed like an older hotel but was still comfortable. Nothing exceptional and nothing bad either. We had a suite that was really roomy and clean. It faced the street which was pretty noisy. They did have a white noise machine in the bedroom. Shuttle service to airport was easily arranged with the front desk and on time.

Under renovation, can’t use the stairways. Plastic closed off areas everywhere. Horrible smell from construction one of the days. I know this is a temporary thing, but it would’ve been nice to know before spending $400+ on two nights. The pool is ridiculously small. At best, 5 kids may be able to swim? Dirty wash cloth in our bathroom and a dead bug on the window sill. Business center (computer station) doesn’t work. And for the price you pay it would be nice to have complimentary coffee in the lobby - especially with the construction. Nothing though, just free water. That said, the gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming and kind and the rooms are good sized. Can’t say I’d be back with so many other options in the area though.

We always stay at the Courtyard Marriott Airport when visiting Portland. We can count on a friendly staff, clean, well appointed room and we love that we can travel easily from this location to visit friends and family.
