The Nines, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Portland

Very centrally located and staff was great. Great value. Food on premises is very good and the complimentary wine tasting was a very nice touch.

We also all have different tastes in what we want and what we taste. When: My wife and I visited in June for one evening on a Saturday. Area: As mentioned before Portland’s downtown has changed a lot. Not a lot there anymore. Check-In: Super friendly and easy check in (4.5 stars) First impression of the room: Very well decorated. Clean, nice bathroom, desk, little table. Plenty of outlets, free expresso, payable snacks, payable drinks. This room was very dark and the curtains did not open enough to allow a lot of natural light. (3.5 Stars) View From Room: View is into another building - (1 Star) Cleanliness: Everything was extremely clean. Drinking glasses uncovered. We also had room service and items delivered uncovered, which I think is unusual. (2 Stars) Amenities: In room amenities included: (3.5 Stars) Honor Bar Free wifi Scale 2 free bottles of water Honor snacks Safe Robe In-room dining The property Two restaurants and a bar. Bathroom: Very nice bathroom. Shower was above average. (3.75 Stars) Bed & Sleeping - Very comfortable bed. - (3.75 Stars) Value: Our bill was $385.82. (3.5 Stars) Which included: Valet parking $61 Drinks (2 adult drinks $50 with tip) Over priced. Breakfast Room Service. Yes! The value is worth it besides high priced drinks. Our average rating was 3.1875 We will be back!

The Nines never disappoints. It's in a perfect location, very easy to get to all the city sites. Our recent stay at the Nines was outstanding. The room was large, with a wonderful view, the bathroom fresh and spotless. I had to look for the brand of bed and pillows they were so comfortable. The rooftop bar view was beautiful and the food excellent. All of the staff was helpful; the concierge team helped plan our winery trip. Unlike most other downtown cities, Portland is alive and buzzing.

I can’t say enough great things about the Nines Hotel and, in particular, the manager Clint and Janesa at the front desk. We arrived for our first trip to Portland having chosen a different hotel that was , unfortunately, not as advertised. We came to the Nines hoping they could accommodate us and couldn’t believe what a lucky decision that was. Clint and Janesa went so far above and beyond to take care of us, it is truly indescribable. The room was beautiful, the hotel was stunning, the gym was fantastic, and the food and drinks were amazing. But it was the hospitality of Clint and Janesa that really made our trip special. Can’t wait to go back!

I am on a business trip to Portland and staying at the Nines hotel. What stands out is their amazing customer care and hospitality. Clint Kuper sets the bar. He genuinely cares and gives his best to ensure the hotel provides a great experience.

This place sucks. It’s supposed to be super luxurious and is supposed to make you feel comfortable. Unfortunately it did not make me feel this way. Windows are sealed and absolutely no vaping in room. This wouldn’t be a problem if they had a balcony or some way of opening a window. Windows are sealed. They told me to go to the ground level and vape out side. There is no were to vape out side. In fact there is a sign that says no smoking or vaping with in 25’ of entrance. So I cross the street. The fact is this place isn’t cheap and I’m not comfortable.

we landed in Portland and upon arriving to one of the most expensive rooms at one of the most expensive hotels in the city… we knew we would not be staying there. The ‘suite’ was dirty, looked nothing like the photos on the hotel’s site and most of the city was booked. We took a chance and headed to the Hotel everyone had told us was the best and walked up to the front desk and said ‘we hope you can help us solve our problem!’ The woman working the front desk, Janessa, spent the next half hour doing just that- it was INCREDIBLE. The level of knoweledge, service and joy she provided was beyond measure. Janessa and Mr. Clint Kuper (Manager) made what could have been a disaster… a trip to remember. We are forever grateful!
