First of all, there are no convenience stores around the hotel. There is a convenient kitchen in the room, so I think it's a good idea to come after shopping.
It's a long way to the downtown area, so we took the streetcar.
The only parking available at this hotel is valet parking, which costs $49 per day.
If you don't like valet parking, you can park for free in the street parking spaces around the hotel from 7pm to 8am the next morning. ($3 per hour thereafter)
Alternatively, public parking is available across the street for $25 per night. (Cannot be put in or taken out)
They say they can clean your room if you let them know at least one day in advance, but since we were staying for 2 nights, they only asked for extra towels.
Thanks to the kitchenette, I was able to eat whatever I wanted in my room.
I came to Portland for sightseeing, but there were a lot of homeless people downtown, and even though it was bright out, most shops were closed at 7pm, so I didn't think it was very safe.
So, I don't know if I will come again, but it is one of the hotels I would recommend to anyone who has a chance to come to Portland.

Nice Hotel close to everything, bars and the river, while in downtown. Also easy to catch public transportation right out in front of the hotel if you feel like saving money and skipping an Uber

The floors, elevators, and common areas were dirty. There were dirty cups sitting around, along with other trash in several areas that were noticeable as we were going to our room. The counters in the room were not clean and there was a considerable amount of mildew in the shower and on the shower curtain as well. We were originally set to stay two nights but after the first one we elected to find other accommodations.

The breakfast buffet was disappointing. “Parking Available” is $45 for valet parking or you can park your car on the street if you can find a spot. When we got to our room the blinds were pulled down and we didn’t see the tiny window in the top right corner was open. We kept getting woke up because of street noise and cigarette smoke all night and found the open window when we opened the blinds in the morning. It was clean and the staff were friendly. Coming back to Portland in April and will be staying somewhere else.
