Excellent location and cleanliness. Difficult to park near the hotel.

…in occasione del mio trekking sul Fischerman’s Trail!!…ho passato una settimana in questo Hotel “The Blue Bamboo” a Vila Nova de Milfontes!!…per cui pernottamento e prima colazione!!…poi ero fuori tutto il giorno!!…la struttura si trova in una zona tranquilla!!…ma in due passi ci si ritrova subito nel bellissimo centro storico!!…e anche vicino alla spiaggia!!…la mia stanza era ordinata e pulita!!…sono stata dispiaciuta perché un giorno ho lasciato un sacchetto intero di patatine e al mio ritorno me ne sono trovate soltanto la metà!!…e la cosa mi ha infastidita!!…per il resto il buffet della colazione era nella media!!…non mancava nulla!!…dolce e salato!!…con possibilità di farsi la spremuta!!…era sempre disponibile l’acqua e delle bevande dissetanti!!…e questo posso dire che ho apprezzato!!…perchè certe volte non riuscivo ad andare a comperare da bere al market!!…con personale disponibile e gentile!!…sinceramente posso dire che questo Hotel “The Blue Bamboo” a Vila Nova de Milfontes!!…si trova in posizione tranquilla!!…e è una buona sistemazione per che vuole soggiornare in questa zona del Portogallo!!…

We booked a trip for a group. They charged us 10 euros for breakfast and there was only one person serving the entire group. There was no china, the juice machine stopped every moment, the coffee ran out... and in the second shift there was nothing for breakfast. We also booked a packed lunch that included a bottle of water, a piece of fruit and a sandwich. 4.50 euros. The sandwich was a small, rubbery bread with a single transparent slice of cheese, turkey or ham depending on the day. The rooms were very damp and staff shortages were the general trend. The bathrooms are narrow and in need of a good renovation. There was hardly any space to leave clothes and personal items. To add some positive notes, the few staff there were were super friendly and the location of the hotel was very close to the sea and on a very quiet street.

The location is unbeatable, being able to do everything on foot in the center of the town is without a doubt the strong point of this hotel. There is no parking, but at the end of the street there is a large square where you can leave your car without any problems. The room is small but has everything you need for a short/medium stay, the mattress and pillows were surprisingly comfortable! The weak point of the room is the almost non-existent soundproofing. You can hear everything that happens in the hallway, as if there weren't even walls, and in the other rooms you can also hear conversations and even the water in the bathroom. We didn't come across many employees and the few we did come across weren't very friendly. The reception was often without anyone to attend. Overall, for the amount paid it seems like a balanced price-quality ratio.

Marvelous. Very attentive, friendly, they gave us breakfast, always with a smile. The room was very spacious, clean, right in the center of town. A peaceful place. Not a sound. We will return, the town is beautiful and this area is worth many visits.
