The apartment's interior design is authentically Portuguese and very comfortable. We were quite satisfied with the bed, water pressure, and air conditioning. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from several major attractions, but the biggest issue is that the apartment building is located on a steep hill. Every day involved walking up and down slopes, so I definitely wouldn't recommend it for elderly guests. Be aware that this apartment does not have a washing machine. Another point of criticism is that the lighting is very dim; we were practically fumbling around in the dark every day. Although there are windows, they only offer views of walls or another hotel room, so we couldn't open the curtains at all.

Stayed for three nights, and it was absolutely not worth the 8000+ price tag. The service was terrible, and the hygiene was awful. The bed sheets even had mildew stains. Even though it was self-check-in, there was no prior communication whatsoever. When I arrived, a sign on the door said to contact them via WhatsApp. I sent a message, but got no reply. I called, and they hung up. Then, they finally replied on WhatsApp asking for my email address. I waited forever for an email, only to receive a link to a form. Couldn't they have just sent it to me directly via WhatsApp?! I had to fill out all guest information and pay taxes at the door before they would activate the entry code. The street was narrow, and I had to dodge pedestrians while dragging my luggage. The system was also clunky. The number of guests was wrong, and the taxes were incorrect, so I had to contact Trip.com to get it changed. Payment kept failing, which even caused my credit card to be frozen. After half an hour, I finally pushed open the door and was stunned. There were staff members inside, and the glass was one-way. This means they were watching me struggle at the door the whole time. Didn't it ever occur to them to open the door and let me sit down comfortably to fill out the form? I even told the WhatsApp staff, "I'm right outside the building now."

Loved this place, we've stayed twice! Everything is close by... a short walk puts you right on the shopping street and by the promenade. All the tourist spots are nearby too. The apartments are luxurious, modern, and stylish, yet they're right in the historic center. This time, breakfast at Cafe Alisa was outstanding! We'll definitely be back!

I saw that they have a duplex room, which is perfect for taking photos and chatting with friends. The street view outside the window offers a glimpse into the daily lives of the local residents, with many birds flying by. If you're looking for a unique stay, you might want to consider this room type.

The atmosphere inside the accommodation was really nice, and the staff were friendly. The interior of the place was beautiful! The bed was also comfortable. It was just so pretty and healing.
