super séjour, hôtel confortable, bien situé, très calme juste le bruit des vagues pour vous bercer. Wifi exceptionnel, chambre spacieuse avec une super vue, et ultra confortable. Le petit déjeuner est hyper copieux avec vue mer sur une terrasse très bien exposée.

Das Hotel ist durch seine ausgezeichnete Lage am Atlantik mit seinem traumhaften Ausblick wirklich zu empfehlen. Die Brandung ist schon sehr laut. Uns hat es aber nicht gestört, ansonsten sollte man Ohrstöpsel zum Schlafen mitnehmen. Ist die Balkontür nachts geschlossen, ist es sehr ruhig, aber auch warm. Das Hotel ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen auf Madeira. Dabei ist jedoch ein Leihwagen zu empfehlen, um an den jeweiligen Startpunkt zu gelangen. In unserem großzügigem Zimmer war alles vorhanden, was wir für unseren Aufenthalt benötigten. Die bequemen Sessel laden zum Verweilen auf den Balkon ein. Leider wurde unser Zimmer erst immer nach 16 Uhr gereinigt, als wir schon von unseren Ausflügen zurück waren. Ich würde auch die Halbpension empfehlen, da das Essen wirklich sehr gut und sehr schön angerichtet war. Wir konnten täglich aus der Karte ein 4- Gänge Menü zusammen stellen. Bei den Preisen auf der Karte war die Halbpension wirklich eine sehr gute Wahl. Ich möchte noch unbedingt erwähnen, dass beim Frühstück und Abendessen keinerlei Abfall war. Es gab immer Stoffservietten. Essen wie Butter, Joghurt ect. wurden in Schälchen angeboten, was wir dem Hotel sehr hoch anrechnen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank noch für die Flasche Sekt im Kühler als Begrüßungsgeschenk. Kostenlose Parkplätze für Autos sind mittlerweile genügend nah am Hotel vorhanden. Eine Sauna und Whirlpool für 2 Personen ist immer nutzbar. Leider war bei unserem Aufenthalt das Sonnen auf der Dachterrasse nicht möglich, da gerade nebenan ein Haus mit Presslufthammer und Bagger abgerissen wurde. Ansonsten kommen wir gerne wieder und werden es auch unseren Freunden empfehlen.

This hotel is beautiful, everything has an incredible sea view, from the room, to the spa, to the beautiful restaurants. We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The reception staff give good tips, always with a smile. Breakfast is the best. We already want to come back.

Upon arrival, we noticed that there are major works with enormous noise pollution as a result. This was not communicated in advance. The corridors are dark and there is a smell of unfresh fish. The furniture on the terrace is dirty and broken. Initially, we get a voucher to use back within 2 years, but that doesn't help us. They didn't take our complaints seriously and laughed at us. The officedesk manager is not well-groomed and is wearing dirty clothes. Just like the common areas that are unsavoury. That is not respectful to the customers. The hotel may once have been luxurious, but now it is only worth 2 stars. When we ask if we can make a refund, they tell us that they will do the necessary. To date, no mail or refund has been received. In the meantime we have sent a few emails but we get NO answer. There are hotels in Madeira in the same price range that are well worth their stars, avoid this hotel.

This hotel is by far the best hotel we've stayed in during our one month in Madeira. The view from the room is magnificent, the room was very large, thank you for the compliments in the room. The breakfast is very varied with a unique view. The hotel staff, especially the reception staff, Sarah and Judy, always looked after us very well and advised us on the best things to see on the island. Thank you for an excellent stay.
