Lots of children activities. Staffs were very attentive at kids club, especially David.
Private beach access.
Food was nice, especially barbecue.
House keeping staff were lovely.
Only disadvantage is that drinks and beverage were on the expensive side in the bar.

We spent a few days at the Falkensteiner Capo Boi with our youngest daughter (2 years old).
The hotel is ideal for (smaller) children and leaves nothing to be desired with a petting zoo, children's pool, kids club and shady playground.
The buffet breakfast is fine, as is the evening half-board buffet.
The service is not really up to the mark for a 5-star hotel, however. I did not expect that you would have to get your own beach towels from the pool in a 5-star hotel, and it was also incomprehensible that no one was there all day to fish out dead leaves from the pool or clear the sand from the children's pool.
In general, the hotel is in a mediocre state of repair. Holes in the blackout curtains in the rooms, missing tiles in the kids' club, brittle tripping hazards on the paths through the hotel, a wavy floor liner in the pools, bird droppings on the play equipment for days, dead spiders on the daybed cushions and constantly leaking, broken showers by the pool and on the beach are all things that could easily be fixed with a little care. But apparently they don't do it. That shouldn't happen in a 5-star hotel, especially since the price of the stay was certainly 5-star-high.

We had no air-condition during a heat wave and were lied to constantly about getting this fixed. Communication was substandard sadly. Will never stay again.

Very nice beachfront hotel outside of the small town. Very spacious room with sea view and well decorated. Very good breakfast and dinner buffets with a large choice. Nice free spa.

This is an excellent resort for both those with and without children. Some reviewers did not think it worked well for couples with all the families around, and perhaps that is a problem in the summer, but during our visit in mid-October, there was plenty of room for couples and families alike. Our room (a junior suite with sea view) was lovely and the cleaning staff (which came by twice a day!) were excellent. There is both a small-ish beach and three swimming pools. The breakfast buffet (along with made to order eggs) was vast, and the dinner buffet plus grill was excellent - more tasty than I would have expected. Many seafood choices.

Poorly managed hotel with ( at best) 3 star service not five star. Rip off charges for water 5.50 euro/ bottle even charged for icecream and 40 euro for the cheapest bottle of very average wine was unacceptable. No feedback at all from complaints- the hot water pressure was so low in our room it was difficult to have a hot shower before the water cut off. The food was of good quality but repetitive. Kids under five everywhere not fun when you want to enjoy dinner looking out to sea but have screaming kids running around. The hotel is in a remote corner of the island and without a car you are hostage to the hotel. Overall I was very disappointed. I loved Sardinia but would not go back to this hotel.
