Ok, I guess there is no point to TripAd unless we are all honest. My reviews are generally positive but if you are going to use this hotel there are somethings I wish I’d read on here before I’d booked. Location as far as beach and bars is good. The pool is good, it’s pretty clean. The service is slow but that seems to be all over Porto Seguro. The big problem here is noise. Our first room was on the left of reception facing a cobbled road which is a short cut to the main beach road, it never stops with trucks and taxis and cars blaring out music. The balcony doors offer no sound insulation, it’s impossible to sleep unless you are completely wasted. So after complaining we were moved to the other side of the hotel, much quieter during the day until Toa Toa, music venue about 1km away gets going then it’s loud music till 6am. In short if you are young and gonna be out partying all night, or you are deaf then this is a good option. If you want a quiet break and any sleep, avoid.
