Remisens Bel Moretto - Hotel Metropol Annexe

Arrived at the hotel and were told we didn't have a reservation despite having the confirmation on my phone. We waited approximately half an hour at the front desk as the host said he was dealing with a large party, however there was no signs of a large party. He then told us he could squeeze us in as a room was available on one of their other properties. We were given directions to the property, but after looking for half an hour, we were not able to find it and returned to the see the host. We asked him to walk with us to the property but he was unwilling, but when other guests also had problems finding the property, he walked with all of us to the second property. We were then put in a room that looked nothing like the pictures on the website. I returned to the front desk to ask for an iron, but the host didn't have one. I asked him why the hotel is misrepresented online and why there's been so many inconveniences, but he told me it wasn't his hotel and any complaints should be handled with the main office. He then swore at me in Spanish and locked himself in his room behind the counter. Our room had a shower that didn't work, and the hotel was also hosting many loud parties with many intoxicated people wandering throughout the property. This was approximately midnight by this point. From the time we arrived at the hotel, to the time we were given a room was a little over an hour.

We stayed here for three nights, room was clean and included everything you need. It was funny because you have to do check in different hotel Metropol. At check in it was quite long to do it, only one person at desk, and a lot off costumers. Also breakfast was in Metropo (5 stars), it was more likely 3 star hotel breakfast.

Modern and nice rooms, nice and wide/huge enaught, top balkony. One service at the desk for about 120 rooms is a abdolutly no go ! I had to wait 2 hours after 7 hours driving for check- in ! Greedy managment !! And that the pool opens up at 9 o.clock (people want to go swimming befor breakfast and close at 7 o.clock in the evening (when sun is burning for 2 more hours is also poor

******* photos are very misleading and neither ******* or the hotel seem to accept any responsibility for this fact. Overall the hotel and the immediate area is quite run down. Our room overlooked a worksite, had cobwebs, a sink that didn’t drain and curtains that were falling off. On the plus side the breakfast was very good.

I do not recommend accommodation in a hotel that offers a room with a "view" of the park and the actual view can be seen in the picture. The hotel garage is remote and public and not just for hotel guests. Not to mention waiting for a check-out that lasted over 60 minutes. The staff is not ready to solve the problems ... when we complained about the view from the room, we were dismissed as soon as possible. Since we have already been accommodated in several hotels in Portoroz, I guarantee you that any choice of another hotel is a great solution. WE ARE VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THE EXPERIENCE AND UNFORTUNATELY WE WILL NOT RETURN AGAIN.
