This beautiful hotel is one of the most iconic on the Adriatic coastline. The Kempinski Palace Portoroz is not simply a five-star luxury hotel but a cultural monument where you can indulge in gourmet cuisine, Spa trea**ents, and unforgettable sunsets over the Sea. The sumptuous breakfast is served in the beautiful Crystal Hall with chandeliers and gilded ornaments from 1910. Don't miss a signature cocktail at the lobby bar and a gourmet dinner with wine pairing at the Sophia Restaurant. I also enjoyed an amazing signature Spa Trea**ent with olive oil. Highly recommended!

I love this hotel. It is well staffed. One does not have to wait for a reception or concierge or the vallet parking. The pool area is great as is the service. Breakfast on the terrace is amazing. I do miss the old sit down/coffee/tea service though. The hotel has enough amenities in terms of bars, restaurants, spa, pool, park in front etc. One can have a relaxing stay here. The mattreses and pillows though could be replaced already (I was in the traditional part on the 3rd floor; grand deluxe sea view).

High standard hotel, comfortable rooms and very pleasant sea view. Very rich breakfast, housekeeping service to be improved (turndown service not provided one evening and requested late in the evening). Comfortable swimming pools. Massages to be improved, the time was slightly less than expected (from 50 minutes to 41), two same massages booked but performed with completely different methods and techniques and not so satisfying for such a pretentious and expensive Spa for being in Slovenia. masseuse was also secretary at the desk. Not exactly a nice business card. It demonstrated the lack of professionalism and staffing. For the rest nothing to say.

We didn't really expect too much when we arrived, as we were very disappointed in the nearby sister hotel (across the border). The reception was all the more warm (we had booked 4 rooms). Although we were there very early, our rooms were all ready. All the rooms were relatively close to each other. The service in the hotel is really very good, starting with the management, concierge and room service. As our first stay was in May, the private beach was not yet ready. But you could guess that the cabanas and loungers would look very nice. If it weren't for the huge number of people in the high season. Back to the hotel: the rooms are extremely spacious, the bathroom has everything you need and more (in abundance). The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. There really is almost everything you need to start the day absolutely well. All in all, an absolutely great address to start a holiday by the sea from Austria. For this reason, because we felt so comfortable, we went back there again in September. The reception was wonderful again, as was the entire service. We also enjoyed the great afternoon tea in the beautifully landscaped and well-kept garden. Finally, I would like to mention that the hotel is extremely dog-friendly, which is not a given in the region. Our standard poodle felt right at home there too! In the high season, you unfortunately have to expect to hear some noise from the beach bars opposite. However, this is not a fault of the extremely great hotel.
