Antrim Gardens Portrush

I recently stayed at this property via ***********. The view is lovely and the location is great however the smell of damp at the front door and also in the kitchen cupboards. There is mould around the shower and damp on the ceiling as well as a very noisy fridge in the kitchen/living room. I contacted the owner Geoff advising that the bedroom window is locked closed but it is not secure and due to the high winds we got no sleep with the noise of the rattling window. He ignored my message and I called him asking for a little time extra before we checked out to which eventually he agreed to an hour longer but said I should have pushed a towel in the gap of the window so he was obviously aware of it. He never apologised that we had no sleep and we checked out. *********** contacted me asking me to review the property I made no comments just put on it 5 as a score out of 10. I was contacted a number of times by the owner annoyed at my review, I explained I made no actual bad comments but I couldn’t give the property anymore than a 5 as it did have issues. Today I got a very nasty and unprofessional reply stating I was never to book another property in Portrush that this company owned and I was not welcome. I have now reported them to *********** as they don’t want honest reviews and are very unprofessional.

This was the top apartment owned by Geoff and Bill.. Apartment spotless.. Two bedrooms with double beds... Bathroom was very clean... Living/dining room was a big size with fantastic views all mod cons in kitchen and plenty of dishes and cutlery... Tea towels cleaning products tea coffee sugar all provided... All in all very pleasant stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and I'll certainly be back in future...
