Staff were amazing and helpful. Lovely views. Food was so good. The walk down from the road was challenging. I wish I had known about the walk from town which was great

This hotel was beyond expectations. Perhaps it was the exceptional weather we experienced while in Positano, but the view and ambience from our balcony and the restaurant/bar lounge area made us not want to leave the hotel for our stay. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the beach was lovely. The staff were also amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. A recommendation would be to take advantage of the Ferry system for arrival and departure and save yourself the headache of 400+ stairs to the road. This hotel is uniquely situated a short 5-10 minute walk down a path with minimal stairs which takes you right to the lobby from the ferry dock. Beyond fabulous and we are dreaming of returning some day. PS: book well in advance because it sells out!

Just a simply beautiful hotel that’s has a walkway that takes you to the center of town. Our room had a good size balcony that faces the ocean and great view of what makes Positano special, the houses in the mountain. We would comeback to this hotel!!!

We stayed at Hotel Pupetto after spending many hours looking at options. It is found hidden away right on the beach out of the centre of town but only 10 minutes walk in. Food was delicious and the waiting staff so friendly and helpful. Really delightful little find

I cannot express how wonderful of a stay we had at Hotel Pupetto. From the initial booking, communication leading up to and throughout our stay, service by hotel staff, restaurant staff, beach club staff, and the location of the hotel, literally perfection! Veronica at the front desk was my contact person and she took care of absolutely everything we could ask for; car services, porter services, directions, suggestions etc. She is truly phenomenal! The location of the hotel is second to none in my opinion as it allows for a more quiet atmosphere while in Positano but is only a short walk away from the main area. The walk in itself is incredibly beautiful into the main area of Positano. The in house restaurant was wonderful and the “Pizza Man” Pasquale was an absolute master! Probably the best pizza we had on the Amalfi Coast. I highly recommend Hotel Pupetto for anyone wanting a special stay with an amazing level of service. We will definitely return!

The hotel is a fantastic location for enjoying Positano while also being away from the business of the main part of the city center. It’s right on the beach so you can listen to the waves crashing. Breakfast was included which was a great value. There is a quick way to cut across next to the beach to get to the city center without having to climb as many stairs. The hotel is small and clean. Food and drinks were good, and you can’t beat the location.

3 stars? Why? This place is out of this world. Reception was very friendly, check in was super simple and a porter service was offered to get our bags from the ferry port. They even monitored our ferry and tried to contact me ahead of time when there was an issue with the ferry. We went out to dinner at the hotel restaurant tonight. Best dinner experience (quality and service) I've had in a very long time. People care about service here. Really highly recommended.

The hotel is located directly on the beach (one beach over from the main beach in town, so quieter and with no ferries pulling in and out). The restaurant and bar area are beautiful with loads of places to relax under the wisteria and lemon trees. Service in all areas of the hotel is excellent and the food in the restaurant is very good ( if a little overpriced for what it is). We were very impressed with the service from reception. They booked us a car to Naples airport. Half an hour before the departure, someone came to our door to carry our bags up the endless steps to where the car would pick us up as the hotel does not have direct street access. They waited with our bags until we got there. Every query we had was also answered by the staff knowledgeably and with a smile. The rooms were comfortable and the ocean view was appreciated. One small quirk is that the access from adjacent rooms to your balcony area is not blocked, which means that from a security perspective, you should always lock the door to the balcony when you are not in the room. If you want a nice quiet location, that still has easy access to the center of town ( via a passageway through the rocks to the marina), this is your place.
