I booked lunch, dinner, one night's stay, and beauty treatments for two. The room had to be booked separately online to the treatments (there were some emails back and forth for beauty treatments) but staff were very accommodating so we could have a schedule of treatments between meals. It was handy to have the restaurant, hotel and spa in one place. Plus it was smaller and more personable than some larger hotels/chains as it is a family-run business. Hannah greeted us on arrival and was very friendly. The room and hotel in general was very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. I appreciated the little details, such as chocolates and books in communal areas, drinking water and glasses in the room, and provision of face cloths and toiletries. We didn't use it but having a mini fridge in a room is always a bonus. Tiffany gave us a great manicure, pedicure and massages and we enjoyed use of the sauna (didn't use the hot tub or pool so unable to review). We particularly enjoyed our lunch and dinner, and it was great to see it being made fresh from the dining area. My only suggestions: twin treatments would have been preferred (rather than separate massages with the same therapist), and a 'spa and stay' package might have made booking easier. I didn't see any staff wearing face-masks which may be off-putting for those who are concerned about Covid-19 infections.
