This was my first experience at a Bed and Breakfast and it greatly exceeded my expectations! I appreciate the old-home charm, but I also love technology and modern conveniences. I was so impressed by the seamless blend of both of these things throughout my stay. That great experience began with the easy self-check in, and still receiving a warm greeting from Zach. The room was ultra clean, had all the comforts I could expect, and lived up to the its name…”Lavender Haven”. The lavender potpourri placed around the room to all the lavender themed products in the bathroom jump-started a very relaxing evening. I shouldn’t fail to mention the provided snacks, two bottles of water, mini-fridge, and a well-stocked personal Keurig, and convenient free off-street parking right across the street. That relaxing evening, a great night’s sleep on the very comfortable bed, and phenomenal breakfast was a fantastic experience. And let me say, that breakfast that included Allyson’s just-baked raspberry white chocolate scones, made-to-order omelette, fresh fruit, and delicious locally made beer wheat toast was the cap to the best night I have spent away from home in quite some time! My only regret is that I didn't take a photo of the excellent breakfast! Bottom line…if you don’t already have one, find a reason to go to Pottsville just to experience The Maid’s Quarters!
