We highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, quiet place and friendly staff. Excellent for a relaxing holiday. Only sound we could hear was the chirping of the birds in the nearby fields. Pool was big with comfortable sunbeds. Buffet breakfast was good and plentiful. Only suggestion we can give is : dinner menu to be more varied. Our only problem was : transport. Being located out of town, to get to Pozzallo centre, just 2 kms away, we had to get a taxi, because no buses run close to the hotel. So if you don't drive, just call one !!

What can I say about Modica Boutique Hotel? I LOVED IT! LOCATION: GREAT! Easy to find, surrounded by many shops and restaurants. PARKING: Free Parking in a lock-up garage; private and very safe, with lift connected straight to Hotel. ROOM (Superior): Spacious, Modern, Very clean, Very comfy bed, Cozy linen, State of the art Shower, Relaxation at it's best! BREAKFAST: Spoiled for choice, everything fresh and delicious. Buffet Breakfast 'a la grande'! WATER MACHINE ON EACH FLOOR: Empty bottles provided for free cold or room temperature Natural and Sparkling Water HOTEL RESTAURANT: We had one dinner. Limited choice, however the food was cooked to perfect, presented well and we loved it. Very reasonably priced. STAFF: Polite, courteous, professional, and always with a smile. I highly recommend Modica Boutique Hotel, especially for those travelling with their car by ferry to Pozzallo, as it is only 20min drive. You will not regret it. A beautiful setting, isolated and quiet, with a lovely pool area. We stayed in a suite that was very roomy, with a large double bedroom and a smaller single room upstairs. Downstairs had a small kitchen corner (which we didn't use other than the refrigerator) as well as a dining table and chairs and a comfortable sofa. Sky TV with all the sports channels (in Italian, obviously) was a nice surprise and came in useful as we weren't lucky with the weather. There are no other restaurants within walking distance - it's a 15 minute drive into Modica - so we ate at the restaurant every night for a week. This was not a problem as everything we ate was DELICIOUS. Enough variation on the menu to eat something different every night if you wanted to, but the dishes we had early on were so good we had them all twice. The best pinsas I've ever tasted - a world away from 'pizza' in the UK. Very reasonable prices as well, including wine. We only spent one day by the pool (because of the weather!) but it looked as though there would be plenty of sunbeds available even if all the guests decided to visit. Most importantly, all the hotel and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which really made the stay as good as it could be.

Stayed here for couple of nights during a recent visit to Sicily. Location was perfect, about 10 min walk from bus drop off & just behind the main road of the old town. The owners were friendly & helpful. We had couple of problems accessing our key box & they turned up within 10 mins to help. Access codes to get into the property had been sent within minutes after we had confirmed our reservation online - a day before we had arrived in Sicily. Cleanliness - property was clean, rooms were clean & modern. Decor & furniture too. Price was reasonable considering location & facilities. Communal kitchen with free coffee & tea was a welcome added bonus! All in all, very happy and would: 1. Definitely recommend it. 2. Stay here again.

The hotel is located in the countryside, 10 minutes from Modica. The hotel offers a nice view of the countryside it is peaceful and relaxing. It has a nice pool where you can cool down and relax. The rooms are spacious clean with a beautiful terrace. The staff are polite and friendly. The breakfast was varied and there was a lot of choice. A special thank you to the receptionist who was very friendly and witty.

We picked this B&B because we were coming from the Malta ferry, and it is 5 minutes drive from the port. We arrived much earlier than we had expected, and Giancarlo was so welcoming! He gave us coffee and let us check into our room at 10:30 am. Our room was bright and cheery with a large deck overlooking the beach. The breakfast was a nice continental one, and Giancarlo surprised us with some delicious cannolis. He was the friendliest host we’ve ever had! We only stayed one night but we’re very impressed. If you need a stop in Pozzallo, definitely stay here!

We recently spent 10 days at Modica Palace Hotel. Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and restaurant staff were wonderful. All were friendly and helpful. The pool area is very nice and peaceful. We booked a superior room which was quiet and comfortable. We'd definitely consider staying here again should we find ourselves in Modica. Notes: The shuttle is no longer available. You definitely need a car or you'll be booking taxis. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant didn't appear to be open for dinner or was only open for groups so we never tried to eat there. Some of the pool furniture was in need of repair or replacement. It is the end of the season.. All in all it was a very good experience.
