We had a message a few days before we arrived to say our room had been changed on our first night to a non sea view room. We decided to get there late because of this only to find that the reserved space for parking was full. The hotel were rude and told us to park somewhere else. The room was outdated and basic but the sea view was lovely. The breakfast was basic.

Incredible views and affordable price.
Super thin walls. I could hear the entire conversation of rooms on both sides. No food or drink the room???
Room is 180 steps down from the road which is challenging with luggage. Lady at reception kindly organised a local to assist with my bags for 10 euro.
Local bus to Amalfi/Positano might come - and it might not. Taxis are expensive and there's no path along the road to walk.
Hotel is right by Tourist Information however their advice was... lost in translation? Walk of the Gods is about another 1000 steps from the main road (by the hotel).
Priano is great if you're into water sports or sitting reading a book. This hotel has a wonderful area to sit and read.
Great hotel for solo travellers on a budget. Not so much for families, romantic getaways etc.

Villa Bellavista is such a welcoming and warm place for the weary traveler, as well as the budget conscious . The food is delicious, made with fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden. The views of the Mediterranean and even the Faraglioni Rocks of Capri can be seen in the distance! The sunsets are the best!!! I’ve stayed so many times, I’ve lost count! My last trip was cut, as the birth of my great-grand child delayed travel plans. I can’t wait to rebook!!! If you are looking for a clean, safe place to kick back and relax, while keeping your budget happy, this is it!!! Also, because of the proximity of the sea, you aren’t bothered with street noise. Tickets are available for buses running up and down the coast, so you can hop off, explore a village, then hop back on, or simply ride, drinking in the beauty of the coast. Praiano is well situated between sister cities Positano and Amalfi. Shopping as well as water sports, great dining and gelato await you, on your fabulous adventure! Don’t miss this one!

Attention, près de 200 marches pour se rendre à la chambre. Impossible de communiquer avec le personnel de l’hôtel autant par courriel que par téléphone.
L’emplacement est magnifique et le coût plus que raisonnable.

Das Hotel bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer. Die Aufnahme in dem familiengeführten Hotel war sehr freundlich, das Essen, welches auf einer Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer serviert wurde, war sehr gut. Auch vom Zimmer aus hat man einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer und die kleine Bucht. Wie überall in der Gegend der Amalfi Küste sollte man gut zu Fuß sein, um ans Meer zu gelangen. Umso schöner ist danach das Bad in der kleine Bucht mit Blick auf die Steilküste. Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen im Bellavista und ich komme sicherlich wieder.

Absolutely LOVED our stay at Hotel Villa Bellavista! Best views from Praiano, walkable distance to roads and local restaurants, you have it all within 5 minutes walking distance. Even what seems like a private beach below! We also did the Amalfi Boat Tour with Gennaro that is offered by the hotel and this was by far our best experience while our stay. Gennaro’s knowledge on the coast was excellent and he made sure my wife and I had the best time possible. The breakfast was also really good, missing a little bit of variety, but still really good. If you’re looking to be close to everything but far enough away for quietness, great views, and great service, STAY HERE. Their Pool was also great to have, used it our last day as we were pretty exhausted from all the walking and day trips. I can’t wait to come back and stay at Hotel Villa Bellavista and where to tell my friends and family where they should stay when they come to the coast!

I was very impressed with the hotel. It is a family run business and you can feel the love in everything about the place. The rooms and the grounds were spotless. The views from my room and the outdoor patio were amazing! Breakfast and dinner are included and while breakfast was standard fare for Europe (some sweets, some cured meats, fruit, bread, juice, yogurt, cereal, etc), dinner blew me away. Imagine being invited to a friend or family members house for dinner (someone who can cook!) and that was what the experience was like. Simple, fresh ingredients, delicious food. The hotel also offered 2 boat excursions, one to Capri (which we did not take) and one down to Amalfi which we did take. Great experience! I highly recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to the Amalfi Coast and staying in Praiano, especially if you plan of hanging out at OneFire Beach Club, the location is perfect. Thank you Adele, Sonia, Gennaro and Raffael for an amazing trip.

My husband and I are returning guests at Hotel Villa Bellavista. Rooms are clean, comfortable and the staff extremely helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed and were so eager to help. We looked forward to breakfast on the terrace with incredible views and an assortment of food to choose from. Great location in Praiano. Highly recommend. Just lovely! Can't wait to go back!
