Hotels Near Chiesa di Regina Pacis in Prato

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per qualche notte. Ubicato in una posizione ottima per muoversi comodamente in auto. La nostra stanza era abbastanza grande, comoda e dall’altro lato dell’autostrada quindi abbastanza silenziosa, bagno con doccia molto grande. Ottima la pulizia. Dalle fotografie proposte mi aspettavo qualcosa in più invece la stanza era arredata in modo molto spartano e gli spazi comuni sono un po’ datati. Ottima l’idea della stanza attrezzata a cabina armadio anche se qualche stampella in più sarebbe gradita. Non mi ha soddisfatto la colazione. Poca scelta di torte (una pastiera, una crostata ed un ciambellone che è stato lì per 3 giorni e l’ultimo giorno era diventato duro e immangiabile. It cannot be called a 4 star if the cleaning is poor to say the least. As soon as my son entered the room he found a hair on the bed, I went to flush the toilet and the lid fell on my feet, the inside of the shower was full of dust that had accumulated for months and finally (shame I didn't take a photo) the roof near the air conditioner vent was the color of soot. Not to mention the obstacle jumping we had to do in the morning to get out of the room. No it is definitely NOT a 4 star.

This hotel was booked by a company I am working for, so I am sure it was booked purely on price as we were quite a large party. I understand that any business coming out of lockdown has a hard job on its hands, but on entering my room, I did feel it was necessary to wipe everything down with disinfectant wipes as everything was quite dusty. Some of my colleagues were unhappy with the cleanliness of their rooms. Following my initial clean down, my room was tidied daily. Wifi is poor, except in reception which has nowhere to sit and work, so if you are here on business, you don’t have any privacy to get work done. Continental breakfast is okay, but I cannot think of anything good to say about the cooked food, except that I have lost weight because I have not eaten very much. We are not allowed out of our bubble, so we have not been allowed to eat elsewhere, but if you can, I would. I have been served undercooked pasta five nights in a row, which tastes of salt, then meat and fried potatoes, which again tastes like it has been preserved in salt. Day 5 and the vegetarians in our group are stiil being served meat which could be considered quite funny, but they were not impressed. Although the staff are very apologetic, it is then replaced somewhat later with a greasy omelette which looks extremely unappetising and lonely on its plate but the soup is okay. They didn't have any sauces or gravy to serve with the food at the beginning of the week so the food tasted very over cooked, salty and dry, but we did get gravy this evening, so it has improved a little. I have been craving some vegetables with my dinner but greasy Salty eggplant is the only option. Oddly, mixed veg is served at breakfast. They dont really understand dietary requirements, so if you are ceoliac, best not chance it. I maybe doing the catering staff a dis-service, because they may have been drafted in from a different occupation, like myself and just doing their best in difficult circumstances. Catering is clearly not their forte. Everyone seems friendly enough.

Hotel recently opened in a good location, motorways and industrial areas just a few minutes away, as well as the centre, with free parking just a few meters away. The common areas are very well presented, modern and spacious furnishings, one has the impression of high quality. Very friendly and attentive staff. Very nice room, with access to the patio with swimming pool, furnished with style and with the right spaces. Impeccable cleanliness, comfortable bed, maybe a bigger TV could have been placed. The only flaw, not a small one, is the lack of soundproofing between the rooms, in fact I heard everything the neighbor did, from the shower to the phone calls. The breakfast is good even if the tables are only comfortable if you are alone. A tip: if you want to attract business customers, breakfast cannot start at 7:30. Some flaws to fix related to youth, but the foundations are there and they are excellent. Price perhaps a bit higher than average, but the structure is worth the expense.

Nice hotel but quite far away from all attractions. Typical chain hotel. Rooms are well maintained and cleaned it a decent standard.. We had family room. Double bed and pull out bed for two kids. Pull out bed was quite small for our very tall 10 year old daughter to share with her 7 year old brother. Swimming pool was nice a clean. Tight rules around it’s use. Closes at 8pm. Whole pool was 1.5m Deep which is not great for young kids that can’t swim. No drinks allowed poolside. Must be drank in area outside fenced area of the pool. So no drinking on sun loungers.. Hotel food was great. Staff friendly. Had 1kg Florentine steak one night. Excellent. A typical taxi fare into city centre could be anywhere between €20 to €33 depending on the driver. Not much to do in local area.

Great village strategic location to visit both the Lake Bilancino and the Autodromo of Mugello. The hotel is well organised, the staff is friendly, the cleaning of a good level.Prices in average, I advise anyone who wants a short break in the Barber area. We'll be happy to come back, thank you.
