Location was very good, 2 minutes from the motorway and 5 minutes from the city. Nice view from the room overlooking a little pond and farmland. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Would stay again!

Says has a pool, no pool… stuffy rooms bed and wash basin full of hairs… not some where I would stay again

Basic but clean! Quick check in and out. All we needed for a one night stay as we were attending an event nearby.

The Tickled Trout Hotel was a great hotel. We only stayed 1 night, room was bigger than I thought it would be. Only 1 problem was that the bathroom needs a complete revamp because it is extremely dated. There was only a trickle of water from the shower head. Eventually we got hot water, it took ages to come. The rooms are a little dated but they r cute.

A hotel with a beautiful rural background, complete facilities, clean and tidy, a little inconvenient is that it is next to the expressway on the outskirts of the city, if you don't have a car, you can only wait for the bus every few minutes. Attached is the window view of the hotel.

Comfy bed, carpet in room could do with a hoover, bits kept sticking to my feet. Bathroom was clean. Drunk annoying man in bar swearing at us, can’t believe staff were still serving him! Otherwise staff nice and helpful.

The evening food menu always has at least 3 things thats not available and been like this the last 3 times i have stayed but always different things

Room carpet was dirty, plastic bag on smoke sensor(totally illegal) Bathroom so badly designed, toilet to close to sink, right elbow bruised. Breakfast, was moved like second class citizens to another area, because bus group checked in, beans cold, eggs under cooked, whites runny.

Good points. Family room size was great, it was nice and dark. That's were the positives end. The breakfast service was terrible, not the usual MacDonald experience, ended nearly an hour early without warning to accommodate a football teams stay. The window in the room did not close fully, leaving a draught on our youngest. No management present when requested.

Easy to access location. Nice building inside and out. Lovely staff. Inside layout and signage a bit confusing. Need a code to leave by vehicle, but not to enter (make sure you remember the code, or just ask reception if you forget). Sometimes had to wait for reception staff if it was quiet. Room was excellent: clean, functional and nice!

Room was nice just a bit dated. The room faced onto the A road so was a bit noisy.
