The staff was all super friendly with the exception of the lady working this morning at the front desk. I booked 2 nights with this hotel for the indoor pool access. The pool was so cold i as a mountain person would relate it to creek water. Read reviews after this and saw the pump has been broken for a year. My 4 year old son shivering asking to stay in the pool because he wanted to swim so bad. I would have never bought the rooms if i had known the pool was not warm enough for my son to swim in. The remote to the tv in our room was not working either. I took it to the lady at the front desk the day before yesterday and she was so helpful. She got the remote to work on another tv and clocked out. However the remote still did not work on our tv. She said it may have been the tv instead so she offered to switch our rooms. It would have inconvenienced us to switch rooms at this point being our second day there just for a remote. So we asked if she could ask the manager for a slight discount. She delightfully said she could at least ask. (Again this lady was so so wonderful and made me feel heard with my concerns). Check out day i went to ask the front desk about any potential relief for the remote not working since we did not want to switch rooms. The lady this morning made me feel like a huge inconvenience. She said there is no way they would ever compensate over a remote. No I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Just a dry thats your problem attitude.

I picked this hotel because it had pretty good reviews, so I was shocked to find how terrible this hotel was. The entire hotel and parking lot reeked of cigarette smoke - so much so that my car I parked in the lot reeked of cigarette smoke for days afterwards. The curtains in my room were dirty and the carpet was so old and the door didn’t latch properly. With all these things I half expected bed bugs. Thankfully no bed bugs, but that was the only good thing about the hotel.
