Mercury Hotel Provincetown

Overall, the property was really nice. I had never had a shared bathroom experience anywhere before, but it went better than expected. There is a free coffee station, which is really nice. Decor was super cute, everything was super clean. However, I do agree with other reviewers that room #13 is NOT meant for tall people. I am not even 5’3” and my height was a tight squeeze in that room. It didn’t bother me, but definitely something to make others aware of. It also got SUPER HOT upstairs and there was not an adjustable thermostat so we resorted to opening windows. Bed was also not super comfortable, but for one night it was fine.

I was told to park my car on the street, even though I was told parking was included as it has been in the past. I have a brand new car, 2024 Acura. I parked on commercial street. I woke up and my car had been hit and run and my drivers side mirror was destroyed. I got no resolution nor any good follow up from management.

Overall the property was nice. Our room (13) was clean, however due to the slant of the roofline it made it difficult to get to the other side of the bed. I suggest you have a disclaimer for that room for people I er 6’ tall. Also on arrival the gentleman that was at the front desk took us to our room but did not mention any other feature of the property, such as the roof top deck of the coffee machine, or if we needed anything during our stay, how to get in touch with someone. I would suggest having making that info clear to the guests upon arrival.

Love the proximity to downtown and we had the hotel all to our selves. Really comfy/cozy and super quaint. We’ll be back 😊

What an unexpected surprise. Well, I have stayed in Provincetown many many times over 5 decades but this was the first time I stayed at the mercury hotel. In all honesty, I was a little bit ambivalent about staying here because of the reasonable price. I did check reviews and they were predominantly complementary, so I took the risk since there wasn’t a lot availability at the places I normally stay. The surprise is that this hotel is wonderful from check-in, which the hotel communicates numerous times before arrival and uses an app to unlock your door for the first time. The communication was very much appreciated. When I arrived, it looked like a very nice, and typical of Provincetown, bed-and-breakfast. But in practice, it is more of a hotel than a B&B. When you enter your room, you will notice a large and comfortable bed, interesting, decorations and incredible cleanliness. The hotel does provide key cards to use instead of the app, but also provides. a beverage area, a basket of clean towels for refreshing your room, free parking, a coupon to the nearby coffee shop, and a very short walk to commercial Street. The owners couldn’t be nicer and provide the best value in Provincetown. Cannot wait to come back.

We had such a great stay at The Mercury. The Owner could have been nicer and the hotel was perfect for a weekend getaway. Super clean, comfortable beds and great areas to relax around the hotel. So convenient to walk around downtown P-town. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

We had a great getaway stay at the Mercury. Todd was wonderful. My wife recently had knee surgery and he arranged for 24 hr ice. Very helpful. The room was “cozy”, we knew it would be, The location is great! 2-3 blocks from superb restaurants. There is limited parking, but public lots are also nearby. (Provincetown’s one minus is parking). Unfortunately it rained while we were in town, but we would have enjoyed the rooftop deck.

Easy peasy checkin and electronic key, using the app. Property is modern, edgy and fun. Room was small but very neat and clean. Front desk was professional and friendly. Only critique, internet would drop often and within minutes. For a single traveler or a short stay, it was perfect with parking right on property. This location is ideal and close to the action yet a very short walk to a quiet stay. Lastly fun little sitting areas on decks and off the great room.
